We recently had the absolute pleasure of working with Joel & Courtney Films on our baby announcement video, and the experience was nothing short of magical! They blended Super 8 film and digital so seamlessly, giving the final product a timeless, heartfelt quality that we will treasure forever.

Courtney completely understood our vision from the start. She came to the shoot with everything we could’ve hoped for: the perfect location, inspiration photos, and even a speaker with some of our favorite songs to set the mood and help us feel relaxed. Her attention to detail and thoughtful preparation made the entire process not only stress-free but genuinely fun.

On the day of the shoot, Courtney was such a joy to work with—her calm, creative energy made everything feel natural and easy. And the finished video couldn't have been more perfect. It was exactly what I imagined.

We’ll definitely be finding any excuse to work with Joel & Courtney again in the future. Highly, highly recommend! xx

Joel and Courtney were a dream to work with. From our very first consultation with them we just knew they were going to capture and create something absolutely incredible for us. It is so important to feel comfortable around the people shooting your special day and we felt like we had known them for years, they are hands down two of the nicest people we have ever met. I absolutely loved the editing and highlight videos. The editing was romantic, trendy, humorous and showcased the little things that make the day that much more special. I also appreciated having footage of the ceremony for the future so my partner and I can look back with fond memories.

All we can say is WOW! These guys did such a fabulous job of our wedding day, I can’t even explain how much we loved our films! Courtney really has a special touch and captures all the little details that matter, but also tells the story of the day so smoothly. I felt like the film was so us, even though we’d only met a handful of times. They were the most supportive, kind and professional team to work with all day and I was just so impressed by what they produced. Even their sound quality was fantastic, we had a breeze getting into the microphone in our ceremony but in our video you can hardly hear it at all.
Truly couldn’t recommend these guys more!!
