I love that Vic Park Market happens at John Macmillan Park every Sunday morning from 8am - 12pm.
I buy my fresh produce there, have a coffee or fresh juice and a good browse around all of the awesome local business stalls. The kids can play in the playground and there's always great live music to add to the atmosphere.
There's also a Containers for Change depot and you can recycle used batteries and plastic bottle tops at John Macmillan Park.

Great Community Park with a farmers market every weekend, events are often held here. A well maintained park with a portal that sprays mist at you on hot days!

Great park for walking our small dogs as owners of larger dogs tend to head to Kent Street. check out the Sunday Famer's Market all year round or the Friday Night Hawkers Market here in Summer!

Not a bad spot but certainly didn't feel safe with the local homeless just an arms throw from the park. No plans on returning here.
