We just left our appointment and I’m honestly baffled at the lack of unprofessionalism from both reception and endocrinologist at what is meant to be a prestigious institute and a specialist appointment we have waited six months to go to. We waited for the doctor as the receptionists both rushed around us, it was choatic and loud and they looked like they were in shambles not knowing what patient was here ( it was not busy) and what documents to get us to sign, during appointment another doctor interrupted our appointment twice regarding another patient from Bunbury and our doctor ran out half way through dealing with another patient for 15 minutes and when she came back in she said nothing to us as my husband tried to asked questions to get some clarity to understand why we were referred here. she continued to have her head down and write up a script for another patient. We sat there dumbfounded and confused as to why we were here in the first place. Nothing was explained to us. Endocrinologist then ordered us to have a bone density test but didn’t tell us why we needed the test. When we got called in to have the test the lady asked us if we knew it was an extra cost of $180 and not included in the already expensive appointment.we even told doctor at the start of appointment that I was currently out of work due to a medical condition. We declined the test and explained to the lady we didn’t know why we were even needing it done and was not told about the price. She then sent the doctor out to explain and the doctor could not even speak properly she seemed nervous and couldn’t give me a straight answer as to why we were having the test done as I asked what on earth a bone density has to do with fertility. She said it “it has to do with the testosterone” she did not explain any further, literally she only said this. Ive never seen a doctor be so vague, she could not explain the reason for bone density test or the tests she’s ordered us to have at the lab and she couldn’t explain the direct benefit or outcome/ findings this would show us. After all of this, we could not pay as the receptionist had the wrong doctor assigned to the appointment? This is what she said to us and told us to wait, she then served another customer with payment as she said out loud her payment would be quick. I expressed that I was upset with the appointment to the receptionist and she explained to me that the reason why dr Stuckey might of not explained the reason why we were getting these tests done in depth is so she didn’t scare us! Where is the transparency, where is the education related to patient? Plus this is such a embarrassing answer and does not make sense. She didn’t show compassion or attempt to apologise. Isn’t this the reason why we see a specialist to acquire knowledge and help us to understand. We got nothing out of the appointment, it was a waste of time. I’m genuinely concerned about this service, the doctors communication skills and would love to be contacted by manager. We are very reasonable people and don’t often complain, this was totally confusing experience and it needs to be addressed.

The support team here are amazing - all the ladies on the front desk. They are really caring and want to get a result for you. Jeanette in particularly has been wonderful. If you're not happy with your specialist let the team at the front know and they will help you out.

So glad I found this amazing clinic.
Was Seen by Dr Peta O’grade and she was absolutely lovely.
Had to have lots of tests done and also was lucky enough to met Professor Bronwyn Stucky who was also lovely.
Second appointment was great and everything all well, but going through a terrible menopause.
Dr Peta took the time to explain my symptoms and my care plan.
I felt so much better to know I’m not going mad and the way I’m feeling is all part of menopause.

I would definitely recommend any menopausal woman who is really struggling to go here.
The receptionist was so kind and made you feel as ease as did the nurse.

Hopefully I will now be on my way to getting these dreadful symptoms under control.
