Been in this store a number of times and always find the staff super friendly and helpful. They inquire what you need and advise you what is best - and it’s not about the more expensive sale. They also take time to explain how to care for the products.

Dropped in to get a few specific things. Ended up finding over a whole bunch of things.

More importantly, I sought assistance to order the items I was after. Brigitte took the time to check availability at their warehouse & when that didn't work out proceeded to check availability at each store fir what I was after. Went to the trouble of getting two items put aside for me at another store where they were available & even helped me order the remaining item to be delivered to my home.

She did all this even though she had a little trouble with the store system & other staff helped guide her through.

This service with a smile by the staff at this store will keep me coming back for sure!

I went to your Osborne Park store earlier today to make a partial return of a recent online order because the measurement of the item returned was unsuitable for our needs. The experience was unpleasant and awkward, to say the least. I don’t think I’d want to go back anytime soon.

To start with, there were two tills open at the time and I chose to patiently wait in a shorter queue. When it was my turn, I walked up to the counter and politely said I’d like to return something, to which the lady said “oh you have to go to the other counter where the manager is, who can approve the return.”

There was no sign anywhere in the store to specify that customers with returns should be waiting in a particular queue (e.g., like those we normally see at Myer so customers would know exactly where to go). At other retailers where a counter for returns weren’t specified, all counters would accept both returns and purchases, whichever the case may be.

So today, instead of processing my return request there and then and quickly get the manager (who was literally next to the said staff member) to authorise the rerun/refund when the need arose, this staff member requested me to line up all over again in a different queue.

When eventually it was my turn, I asked politely “Good morning, is this the return counter?” The said manager replied, to my surprise, “Uh-huh” which sounded like she was somewhat annoyed. In any event, responding to a legit question from a customer with an “uh-huh” was in my opinion neither professional nor courteous. She could have simply said: “yes, it is.”

It was just such an unnecessarily weird and tense experience for the sake of a return on that otherwise would have been beautiful Saturday morning. Not to mention that this manager was all bubbly and trying to struck a casual conversation with the young lady she had served before me. The most logical conclusion I could have arrived at in relation to this polar opposite treatment I had received was that it was because I wasn’t making a purchase, but rather, I was getting a refund. It is just so unnecessary to make someone else’s life more difficult and treat them awkwardly if they were simply requesting a refund courteously and reasonably.

I just wanted to say, although the online experiences Kitchen Warehouse provided to your customers were easy and pleasant, it is ultimately the interactions with the store staff, if left a bad taste in a customer’s mouth, that will last for a long time and affect someone’s impressions of a brand name.

To be fair, my two-star rating was for the below average level of customer service I received today. I left your Osborne Park store slightly annoyed. I would have given 5 stars for the online shopping experience.

Have been using Kitchen Warehouse for a number of years now and have always been happy with not only the range of products and pricing, but more importantly, the quality of customer service. This was reinforced for me recently when dealing with the team at Osborne Park.
I was returning an item under the terms of warranty for that product and have to say that right from start to finish the staff were polite, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Throughout the whole process of returning a non-stick fry pan where the coating was peeling I was treated with respect and consideration that left me feeling valued as a customer and was greatly appreciated. I was also very grateful for how the manager of the store presented my case to the manufacturer of the pan which went a long way reaching a success outcome for me.
So, once again, I would like to express my sincere thanks and hope that recognition and appreciation is passed on to all that were involved. You have all contributed to securing my loyalty as a customer. Please continue with your excellent service 😊
