Went to the Rockingham city store on Tuesday the 25th of February with my elderly mother and two daughters , whilst they waited for me at the exit I waited in the queue to purchase a book for my mum and a few dog treats , three younger employees seemed to be trying to fix a self serve checkout that wasn’t working, a middle aged lady was serving on a manual checkout, she then left her checkout to help at the faulty self serve checkout, as there was a elderly couple with a wheelchair in the queue in front of me who obviously were waiting to be manually served , I suggested maybe two of the now four employees at faulty checkout open manual checkouts to serve the increasing queue of customers, which I soon regretted as the middle aged female employee became extremely agitated and rude , I totally understand that they would be unstaffed and would have to deal with complete idiots on a daily basis, I believe my suggestion was in good faith and not aggressive but the response was of a person whom I believe was completely under the pump

was just at kmart looking at the new candles and happened to witness one of the managers (a young girl with glasses didn’t catch her name) give the most incredible customer service to a nasty elderly couple….. they were after an item that apparently was out of stock but the girl had called another store for the stock, was kind and courteous and apologised constantly and this couple were HORRIBLE. kept berating her and snapping and treating her like garbage. i was two seconds from stepping in before the couple apparently decided to insult the young girl behind the service desk.,…the manager refused service from then on. writing this review to say GOOD ON THAT MANAGER. incredible customer service to two horrible people and only putting her foot down when her staff was insulted. .

To the MANAGER in the photo / click and collect department today, 20/12 @9:30am. I was appalled by the customer service I received today. I placed an order yesterday and got an email this morning to let me know the order was ready for collection. When I arrived, my order was not ready, and I was approached abruptly by the manager. She then proceeded to tell me that I needed to give them 24hrs for the order to be ready in an extremely rude tone. I explained that I wasn't there to give her a hard time and just came to collect my order as I was NOTIFIED that it was ready for collection. You cannot blame customers for coming in before their orders are ready if they are notified that the order is ready and then make them feel humiliated while being told off in front of many customers. As a retail worker myself, I understand it is a busy time of the year and everyone is under a lot of pressure, However, this behavior is unacceptable and unprofessional. I hope this feedback gets passed on to this person as she should be setting a better example for her employees and needs to be held accountable for her actions. Not to mention, the quality of the products I ended up receiving was not up to standard, and I am currently trying to fix them up myself.

About 1.00 pm I asked for assistance from a worker named Kayla in the kitchen ware section she was stocking
She went out of her way to assist me ,went out the back and brought back the item I was looking for
I feel this does not happen enough so just wanted to commend Kayla

Went there yesterday to look at the new Christmas stuff. There was a gentleman in front of me being served by a young girl, he was asking if she could use hand sanitiser before touching anything he was purchasing. This girl didn’t bat an eye, sanitised instantly and asked if he’d prefer she just scanned them while he held them. She wasn’t offended in the least! Was so friendly and sweet to the gentleman and didn’t make him feel bad because he was a little iffy about germs. I asked for her name by another staff member, so Lucy, if you’re reading this, you have excellent customer service, what a lovely girl!

K Mart Rockingham. Always like shopping here, staff are helpful and friendly. What I don't like is the loud music - especially in the stationery/home decor section. It's a rock concert and it's very distracting and if you are trying to discuss a purchase with your partner, you start to get ratty with each other coz you have to yell. I just either quickly grab what I need and leave, or leave. Turn your rotten choice in music down folks! Or off. Off would be better. Apart from that, it's okay! LOUISE

Cheap, clean and lots of things for everyone. Love the little bubbly lady at the front as u walk in. Well stocked all the time. They have a photo center and still do laybys which are features that i love.I am still not a fan of the layout with the checkouts in the middle of the store. I also find the sizing in clothing varies greatly but at the same time u get what u pay for too.
