I'm impressed. I purchased a fresh flathead fillet. Cooked it up with sauteed silverbeet and spring onion. Absolutely divine! It was fresh and moist like cooked fish should be.

We just bought crumbed Cod large chips and sea scallops. The piece of cod was dry small, hard over cooked and full of large bones. we simply binned half of the fish. similarly sea scallops and chips were over cooked. we live locally but dont think we will visit this shop again.

Went to order from here but 3 of the workers were standing out the front entrance smoking when they have their own signs up stating it is a no smoking area. Was put off before I even made it to the door.

Also very inconsiderate to the other business around who have outdoor seating in the same area.

This is “quite simply” the best seafood shop on the Southside. If you are looking for fresh of cooked as fish and chips, this is the place to go. Fresh, clean and friendly.

A vast selection of fresh fish & Crustacea at reasonable prices. There are shucked oysters, crays, lobsters crabs to choose from displays as the staff stand ready to answer any questions. As a bonus, a side counter cooks up a mighty feast of fish and chips within 15mins (personal experience).
Pictured is Fisherman Grill for One; incl is a Moreton Bay bug, calamari, scallops, prawns with a generous side of seasoned chips plus your choice of 375mL can. Southsides top 5?!

I ordered the Cod and was delighted by the deliciously yummy flakes of fishy flesh perfection covered with golden crisp batter - and I only paid $7.90 - I will be back

Walked in and immediately copped the stink of seafood. Fresh seafood shouldn’t smell this way. Bloke with a hose walking around hosing the place out - cool. Looks a tired and dirty place … good grief. Bug zappers hanging above the ice shelves and at least five tins of fly spray doesn’t exactly instill confidence in freshness or cleanliness of the place. Prices are very high. Only came here because our local (Shauna Downs) was closed - linked to the poor weather. Overall, a truly unforgettable experience. Good luck to all.
