Krankie Cargo Bikes offers the best trike I've ever seen at the most affordable price.
The suspension system on the front wheels let you lean the trike sideways at the same time it provides a comfortable ride.
Also, the cargo area is vast, more than enough for two kids and a dog.
The trike can be converted to electric which helps a lot to keep up with traffic and especially when going uphill.
I super recommend Krankie to anyone looking for a cargo bicycle.

Got a Krankie about a year ago to ferry kids to and from school and day care to avoid the car. It's excellent, we use it every day not only as a commuter but also to go to the beach or park.

Andrew's service is excellent, continuously improving the bike or fixing some niggly bits.

The bike is sturdy and reliable. Overall an excellent experience!

Having had the privilege of being both rider and cargo, I can honestly say that Krankie Cycles are the best (and most practical) fun you can have on 3 wheels. They provide a great riding experience - they handle brilliantly, go like the clappers and carry a great load (me 😀) easily.
Plus they look great and catch the eye.
For anyone thinking of buying a cargo bike you could not do better!

Probably the best investment I've ever made.
I stumbled across Krankie Tricycles about 18 months ago through a friend who purchased a bike. Having tested a range of inline cargo bikes
already over the previous 3 months, the timing of this find was impeccable. I made contact with the proprietor of Krankie, Andrew, who invited me over to his factory where he both prototyped his bike models and assembles today. I received a full run down from genesis of the bike to where the product is today. I found the bike to be excellent in both design, feel of ride and the feeling of safety. My kids who are 6 and 4 now both love riding in the bike and it is a constant source of fun for them
during school drop offs, weekend sport runs and the thing that saved
us over summer was taking the bike to the beach with no hassle parking.
The bike comes with onboard anti-theft systems that are rock solid.
Andrew has built a bike that is super competitive on price compared
to the Butchers & Bicycles trike that i nearly purchased, but at HALF the
cost. The tilting trike with its mono-shock (aka flying-suspension) has
the same tech that goes into most motor-cross and high end mountain bikes. I have ridden over some gnarly terrain with both my kids fully loaded with zero complaints after a day in the bucket!
The product is Australian made and maintained which I like
and the owner who is a mechanical engineer has full knowledge of
the bike and will always take your call.

I bought a Krankie Whip E1 cargo bike from Andrew in April 2020 after much consideration of alternatives. We decided on the Krankie because it was locally made, Andrew had been very generous in demonstrating the bike and answering our many questions, plus it is a very nicely put together unit. The leaning steering is a major plus compared with some other cargo e-bike trikes making it more manoeuvrable and secure in turns.

An e-cargo bike is a great addition, saving us having to consider a second car. We haven't used it as much as we thought since COVID changed things around a lot, but its handy for trips to the local sailing club, shops, taking my son to and from school (we took the seat and restraints option with door for the box on the front) etc. Some things to consider when thinking about an e-cargo bike trike - they are wide, at 1m wheel to wheel, which can make it a tight squeeze through some spaces, and they are heavy to lug about, especially up stairs. The battery really lasts well, even with lots of throttle use up steep hills.

Otherwise they are very useful and great fun to ride. I can recommend the Krankie - got great pre- and post-purchase support from Andrew and is been bullet-proof so far.

We've had a Krankie cargo trike in the family for quite a few years now, with a second trike added about 2 years ago. They're really well made cargo bikes that are easy and fun to ride both in the city and off-road. In the city we use it mainly for commuting to and from work, doing grocery shopping and heading to the markets, picking up tools from the local tool library, and going on picnics. There is so much space in the bucket - we've fitted in a lawn mower, eskys, cases of beer on ice, a couple of kids or an appropriately sized adult! They're great for taking off-road and very versatile on bumpy surfaces. Definitely recommend! Andrew is very informative, helpful and approachable 🙂

Great bike, great service!
Can't say enough about how great the bike is. Lots of room for all my daily travels. I have the lockable hard-top, which is great when out and about. The battery life is great and the motor powerful enough to help me up the hills of Randwick and Coogee.

i can’t recommend this bike more highly. I use it mostly for joy rides with my 15 month old around Barangaroo and it is SOOO much fun. Quality product and great service! Also great to take to the office. i’m 100% enjoying the increase in cycle ways around sydney.
