This vineyard has UNIQUE wines available at their VERY good cellar door. Roslyn, your cellar door host, is very knowledgeable and friendly. All the wines are local to the vineyard. And they're all quite unique, I've never tried anything quite like them. VERY highly recommended indeed.

While you're there, take the time to wander around their lovely gardens. Good place for a picnic.

A charming take on the traditional vineyard, Long Point offers wine tasting for $10 at the cellar door (large groups by appointment), local art and delicious products from the Hastings region. Try our famous Jolly Nose Tawny and refreshing alcoholic ginger beer. Wander our grounds and view our spectacular outdoor artworks sourced from Bondi's “ Sculptures by the Sea”. Although we do not have a restaurant onsite, enjoying one of our cheese platters on the wooden deck amongst the beauty of the vines is one of life's greatest pleasures! We look forward to seeing you and sharing our beautiful vineyard.

Sep-20: Well worth a visit. The wines and liqueurs are grown with their own grapes and produce. The cellar door is very Covid safe (port Macquarie in general is better than both Sunshine coast QLD, and the rest of NSW in this regard). I don't normally like ginger beer, but we walked away with ginger beers and an agent Orange. There is a small tasting fee ($10), which was redeemable against purchases. After visiting the Barossa region in January 2020 and seeing appalling behaviour in that region, I am thoroughly supportive of tasting fees.

Jan-21: Went back just to get more ginger beers - we rang ahead to make sure there was some left! love the ginger beers!

Went to visit with friends and family, including 4 young kids. We all had such an amazing afternoon, tasting a beautiful wine flight paired with an even more amazing cheese platter!

The kids had a blast running around on the grounds, playing and exploring. We were so well taken care of.

Highly recommend a visit!

We visited today 26 December Boxing Day. The wine tasting range is very unique with different choices. Their Ginger Beer for sure is very unique to Long Point. The Jolly Nose Tawny will remind us of Christmas even if it isn’t. We love the place as well with lots of sculptures and a wide space for kids to enjoy whilst parents are having their fun inside the gallery and wine tasting. We will definitely recommend this place to our family and friends.

We had our wedding out at the beautiful Long Point Vineyard on Saturday and it was perfect! Unfortunately the rain couldn’t hold off for our ceremony and the staff were quick to act when it started pouring 10 minutes before it was due to begin. We had a lovely ceremony and reception under the marquee. The staff were wonderful, clearing bottles and glasses as the night went on, and cleared everything at the end of the night, making pack up the next day quick and easy.
Gabe was so friendly, helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Home grown large boutique winery that deals in quality.
One of 2 wineries in the area. This is the smaller of the two.
Can accommodate functions within the confines of a semi-permanent aluminium scaffold type outdoor all weather tent but I wouldn't be pushing for large numbers.
Firstly the toilet amenities, although modern, are M/F only. ie. One of each. That would be the biggest constraint to hosting an event here.
Secondly parking is a bit restricted. You gould do 20 or so cars in the designated area but after that you would have to park a little further away under some shady trees and walk it.
However, for smaller functions like special occasion birthdays, it looks ideal.
Covered BBQ cum outdoor bar. What a great concept. How could that possibly go wrong in Oz?
The Gallery. A bit small and I'm a bit disappointed not more of the local talent who turn wood don't have their stuff on display here.
A larger gallery with a wider variety of material on display could do OK here. It's not that far off the beaten track and quirky enough to pull the discerning buyer. But digging into the hillside to build another would be cost prohibitive. What they need is a cheap Wattle & Daub type colonial slab hut ala the junky shop @ Wollombi and then pack it full of collectables sourced from the local tip ala Hill End. Rabbit traps, old kero lamps, turned wood, paintings etc. Worked for them.
A couple of picnic table/bench arrangements under the trees. Gazebo on wooden deck overlooking dam is a nice place to have lunch but don't bring your 23' trailer and tug truck into the parking area and expect to turn around in the car park.
As for the wines. Now this is the good bit.
Average price for everything is like $30 but trust me, in 10 minutes you'll have spent $150. Each!
Not normally a wine drinker. More a lager boy myselfbut walked out with home grown reds, liquers and a carton of ginger beer.
Yes, it's not cheap but there's no pretense that they deal in volume. Host told us at the outset that only 39 cases of that vintage were produced.
Most produce was grown and processed on site. Only exception was the orange liquer. But all of it was of exceptioanal quality.
