We had a great experience at this camper ground! The owner was incredibly kind and accommodating. She allowed us to check in after closing time and waited for us for quite a while, which we truly appreciated. Upon arrival, she provided clear explanations about everything, making us feel welcome and comfortable. The facilities were well maintained and in great condition. Overall, it is a fantastic place to stay and we highly recommend it!

Great place to stop over near Brisbane. Well maintained with friendly , helpful caretakers.

The onsite caretaker was easy to find, and check-in was efficient. The shower and toilet block is older, but clean, and well maintained. There are some sites spread around, in the grassed area behind the caretaker. These would have been our pick, but we were allocated a site at the edge of the show-ring. The show-ring sites are very close together. Each has a power and water hookup post. Supermarket and pub within walking distance. 7 night maximum stay, but several camps appear to be more permanent. This was a no-frills, well-priced 2-night stay, while passing through the area.

Lovely kept Showgrounds just a two minute stroll to Main Street with all the shops you need. Plenty of flat wide open spaces, clean amenities and exceptionally nice caretakers, unfortunately they are now moving on. I hope the next caretakers enjoy the lovely spot of Lowood just as much as I have.

Campground has a friendly and efficient caretaker who will allocate a site to you. Clean toilets (lock code), showers (lock code), power, water, bins and well grassed sites. Power boxes and taps are located around the show ring, and also behind the caretakers office. 7 day maximum stay. Gate is locked at night (lock code) No camp-fires allowed at any time.

Well run, safe, quiet showground for camping. The facilities are super clean and the grounds well maintained. The caretakers were helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our stay in Lowood.

The showgrounds are in an excellent location.
Jeff and Lucinda were really nice caretakers. The best.
Clean amenities, dump point, power and water if needed.
Excellent pricing.
You can walk to everything.
There is a nice pub right next door.
Supermarket a few hundred meters away.
200 meters from Brisbane valley rail trail. Which is a really nice ride.
Well worth the visit.
