Asked for chuck steak and attendant quickly wrapped some blade, I guess they didn't want that to go to waste as end of the day. Was all very quick and I was too tired to raise this. Blade doesn't make good curry. The corner meat shop a few shops away is cheaper and they always give me what I want with the best service. Wanted to try this shop as had never been 😬

Be careful, you might end up buying more than you asked for.
I asked the older lady for 4 chicken thighs. At the last second she slips in another one. When queried, she was all "Oh - you said four?"
Nice try, but you were busted.
I'm happy to support the independent business but if you are going to rip your customers off, I'll go to the more popular butcher on the next block.

Very good quality meat at a good price point and the customer service is fantastic, friendly and genuinely interested in providing the right cut of meat for your intended cook. I’ve been buying beef and pork ribs, briskets, sausages and meat for bbq they are second to none!

Very poor customer service. My mum was there today and girl behind counter was rude and told my mum because she was not a regular customer she would have to pay more for her purchase. During this time it's nice to shop and help small business owners but shop keepers should not take advantage of people trying to give them business at the same time. I won't be recommending friends to shop there after how upset mum was as a result of this. Very upsetting experience.
