Had recurring subsidence issues in my garage after initial treatment in 2017. Manager came on site, we had a discussion about tree roots and retaining wall effectiveness and came up with a satisfactory solution. I received first cancellation and the job was done promptly and neatly.

The investment property I own has had a number of problems over the 15 years I’ve owned it with cracking gyprock, walls leaning out, tiles starting to drop, etc and every tradesman I have asked about it has suggested a band aid solution which I accepted. I can’t remember why I started looking for an underpinning solution but I did. I started with the conventional method which requires an engineer to design it but after spending $2000 I still didn’t have an actual design so I gave that idea up. For a little while I was watching those American house renovation shows (must have been bored I think!) and I saw a resin injection solution in use and Google led me to a couple of companies here who do it. Ultimately about five years after I first started looking for an engineering solution rather than a patchwork job for the problems the house had and the potential solutions I selected Mainmark for the job. Soil at the site is H2 which reacted very well to the resin product that was pumped in. There was a small issue with the location of water services under the patio slab which meant that drilling access holes inside the house was the safest option and that was what was done. The two holes are minute and barely noticeable. It was a better option than not lifting the front of the house and less risky than drilling into the patio and hoping for the best. I don’t have any regrets about that decision and the tenants are very happy too.

The slab is level now which was the goal. The water in the bathrooms now run towards the drain not away from it. The obvious problems that we saw before the work was done are essentially resolved. I should add that when I saw the resin product on the American shows there was a lot more damage done to the subfloor and I expected that large areas of the concrete would be removed for access but that wasn’t the case. The hole drilled might have been 5mm so there’s very little to see after the job was completed.

I am a retired Builder who held a Q.B.C.C. Low Rise Builder's Licence and a Q.B.C.C. Completed Residential Building Inspector's Licence, until an accident forced me to retire prematurely. In the past I have recommended Mainmark Ground Engineering to a few people I have known who had subsidence problems. Last month (i.e. January 2023) I had to organize this process as a favour, and was on site to see first hand this time Mainmark in operation. From the first point of contact in booking an inspection, through having the inspection and quotation done, organizing the booking of the work, organizing having the pipework mapped out, the team arriving to do the chemical injections and all the follow up afterwards in relation to supplying final reports, no matter who was involved in each process along the way their attention to detail and professionalism was second to none. Every member of their staff was extremely courteous and did their jobs extremely well. I will continue to recommend them to anyone I know that needs this kind of work performed on their most valuable asset, and have already done so to someone else with these same sort of problems. This process is incredibly fast and clean with little inconvenience to the homeowner, and has a long warranty period on the work.

Hi, I have a high set house in Beenleigh QLD. I engaged Mainmark Ground Engineering to come out and see if they can help to firm up and lift corner of the house and provide a quote. I was a bit unsure whether to accept quote and go ahead with work, but the area manager Brett was great he said we will be able to close gap as he was a experienced installer of the product used. He knows his job and gave me the confidence to go ahead with the work, I am very pleased with the results thanks Brett and Mainmark Ground Engineering team. Sorry no photos of crack before.

I have found this company to be the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with I have had to ask for details on many occasions. Communication extremely bad never return calls I am most disappointed in the work completed. I now have tiles lifting and cracking after paying $10,000 I have more issues to deal with. I do not know how this company still had their doors open and would not recommend them to anybody... stay away from them.
I am forced to take this matter further and will be contacting Current Affair to suss them out
