I would like to thank my construction supervisor Jasiah for managing the build of my new and customized Lucia 2 house. I ended up with a very beautiful well-built and high-quality house. Jasiah did a fantastic job overseeing the trades and the construction works throughout the entire build journey within a very reasonable timeline. Jasiah is a methodical worker, and his attention-to-detail is commendable. He provided detailed updates on the status of every stage of the build and he was open to communication. Importantly, Jasiah was open to highlighting any build issues/defects and relayed that information to me prior to progressing to the next stage. Jasiah carefully rectified any such issues at all stages of the build. Ultimately, the build process was seamless, and I now have a very good quality house. I’m very fortunate to have a supervisor like Jasiah. I would like to thank Jasiah for his guidance, and he made my building journey rewarding and exciting. I strongly recommend Jasiah to any other MJH customers.
I would also like to thank the the entire MJH Thornton team Robert, Katrina, Kurt, Caitlin and Nicole for providing the necessary support and for assisting me throughout my building journey.

Had dealt with Andrew and Codie in the sales department at Thornton Homeworld. After a tough start to the year with poor health conditions, and the birth of our first child we put looking for our dream home on the back burner- until our land became registered and we had to hurry along. My partner and I were dreading going through the processes!!
We arrived at home world with a completely different builder in mind, I said to my partner before going to the other builder that I’d like to stop in to MJH for another look as it had been a while since we last looked at the display homes. We were greeted by Andrew who was so straight forward with us on pricing, how their processes work etc. we loved the homes on display which was a bonus and we’re also told to just look at the layouts which was something we never walked in thinking about previously (good tip).
We walked into the other builder we always thought we were going to build with, the sales team was just uninviting and “discrete” about costs and processes. And once revisiting the home it just didn’t have the same impact on us as it originally did.

We went back to Andrew who once again was so accommodating, refreshing, and has a wealth of knowledge (I don’t know how much he gets paid but he should get paid more).
We went home and discussed the choice between the two builders and it became very clear MJH we’re the best value for money and the easiest to approach, after hearing other great stories from people we personally know in the area who have built with MJH it was a no brainer!

We continued to meet, talk, and discuss options with Andrew and Codie and without hesitation signed tenders and put our deposit down.
They have made the process we dreaded so much so enjoyable, fun, and refreshed our excitement we had lost after a stressful year.

Andrew had videos that helped understand the processes MJH use for their builds, he simplified everything- as my partner and I have next to no knowledge on materials, time- frames, contracts etc. Andrew and Codie were super responsive and were so easy to get a hold of if we had any questions and queries.

We’ve since completed our contract, chosen colours, materials, discussed building times and processes with the MyChoice design team and are currently awaiting council approval.

If you’re looking for a new home, don’t skip MJH walk in and discuss with Andrew and Codie all options, also Codie makes the best coffees!

The process has been fun, easy to understand and not as daunting as we originally had thought. The communication has been above and beyond!

Ravi Mansharamani was our Building & Design Consultant at McDonald Jones Display Homes at Box Hill. Being our first build, we were very unsure about many things. The team have been very helpful in every phase so far. It is nearly 12 months March 2018, since we signed up & paid the magical $5,000.00 deposit. Our slab has only just been poured & we have been told we won't be in our home until September,2019 if weather & trades permit. I just wish the sales team had been a bit more honest about the length of time it takes to build. Our building co-ordinators are doing their best & we appreciate that. Couldn't give you 5 stars as we are not finished.

Excellent builders to deal with, Bravos for the simple process you have put together to make it very enjoyable experience for your client.
One issue I have, the late changes selected items
That no longer are available there for it’s always an upgrade and more more money to keep the wheel turning.
If we have selected an item and it was approved in the contract and later you guys realised that it’s no longer Available. The upgrade should be at your expense
And not the customer.... it’s twice now that we had to change a selection and it cost us more thenn the original contracts... get it right 😡
