I am just delighted with my laundry cupboards. I could not find any businesses willing to update my laundry when I purchased my house because it was such a small job. There were only 2 cupboards under the sink and one long bench in the laundry. I phoned countless cabinet makers but they all said they had work for 12-18 months, mainly in new houses. One kindly advised me to contact the Cabinet Makers Association of WA. Sheila gave me the names of several companies to contact and I chose Meraki cabinets to try first. From the first point of contact, the company was friendly and efficient. I told Doug that he could just draw the designs freehand but some professional designs arrived. He was able to perfectly match the existing laminate and handles on the cupboard doors. I had naively chosen paint that cannot be touched up (whole wall needs repainting if any damage), and Doug and his apprentice managed to install the cupboards in a small room without any damage to the walls. It was my choice to have the cupboards to the ceiling and so high so that I did not need to clean on the top or hit my head whilst at the bench. Doug also had to work with the existing splashback. The shelves inside are perfect, whereas in the past I have noticed that the shelves are often damaged in places. Nothing was too much trouble. He arrived promptly and cleaned everything to perfection before he left. The cupboards were very reasonably priced and I have recommended Meraki Cabinets to other tradesmen working on the house, to family and friends. They are so much better than I anticipated and make the room look much bigger.
