Our experience was beautifully in line with all the other reviews – lovely villa, sparkling clean, nice amenities, ample for the up to 4 people the villa caters for, thoughtful supplies provided (bbq oil, insect repellent etc). Pool kept clean and nice. Friendly host with gorgeous little dawgies! Quiet as, overnight. Bird noises in the morning and evening. Lovely well kept gardens. Across the road from the beach. Easy to get to, easy to park.|Villa contains internally a large main room with king bed and single bed with trundle, plus a small kitchen with electric hot plate, microwave and electric frypan; full size fridge that is quiet (ie doesn’t wake you every time it switches on yay!), nice wardrobe and small work desk. Ensuite has usual amenity. ‘Living’ room is outdoors under cover, with dining table and couch. |TV inside has Binge, Kayo and a few others. |Ceiling fans inside and out. A/C inside.|Everything works properly and everything is super clean.|Private – you can’t really see the other villas from yours, they are well separated, and there is no noise or bother from the road. The host is there is you want them but otherwise leaves you be.|When you arrive, park in one of the visitor spots and go to reception which is the front villa on the southern side.|Can’t go wrong staying at a small complex like this that is obviously the host’s pride and joy.

What a Fabulous place to stay!! Beautiful gardens, immaculately clean, spacious, luxurious and so comfy. The outdoor terrace is a definite bonus and the hosts are so warm and welcoming. And did I mention the location! Right next to the beach. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back again ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

One of my favourite hotel stays so far, it felt more like a private villa than a hotel.

The chalet was spacious and completely self-contained, and was surrounded by beautiful gardens.

An unexpected highlight was the private under-cover porch area with comfy seating, table, couch, deck chairs, and a BBQ that was so easy to use.

The room has everything you need including cooking utensils, dishes, etc., and also a TV and air conditioning, and there's a small pool near the reception area which was nice to cool down in.

The host Kerry was also so lovely!

Some tips:
- if you book via a third party website it's best to call the hotel directly to check that your booking has been received on their system as sometimes those websites take a while to send the info.
- there's a supermarket a short drive away however it shuts super early and is closed on Sundays, so stock up early if you want some snacks.

Probably the nicest accommodation we’ve stayed at in Australia. Rooms are huge (king bed and single), air con is solid and you get a TV (with a bunch of streaming services), a fridge, fry pan and stove top, outdoor mini BBQ/hot plate and there’s a cute little serving window between the kitchen and outdoor area. 10/10. Oh and the pool is nice too. Website really doesn’t do this place justice

A wonderful stay! The host was amazingly helpful, friendly and efficient. We loved the tropical gardens and the birdlife that entertained us each morning and evening and the chalet (Manta Ray) was immaculate, extremely comfortable and spacious. Shores is a short drive to both Mission beach and South Mission - with their plethora of restaurants and entertainment venues. Jenny and I live North West of Cairns - and we will no longer simply go to Cairns for a few days away - we will now come to Mission beach and stay at Shores for the silence, security and great welcome everyone receives from every venue. Shores is VERY highly recommended.

Mission Beach Shores is absolutely beautiful. Set in an amazing tropical garden setting, with a beautiful resort style pool. ||Our chalet is airy, relaxing and perfectly clean. The king bed is huge, and the chalet also has a single bed with pull-out bed underneath. The kitchen has most of what you’d need, including a small BBQ plate outside. The verandah is a lovely place to sit and relax. The pool is lovely, clean and a great heat.||Mission Beach Shores is directly across the road from a spectacular beach. There is a fish and chip shop at the caravan park only a few minutes walk away, and more shops about 5 mins drive away.||Kerrie greeted us with friendly enthusiasm and lots of information, which was a great start to our first visit to Mission Beach.||If I’m ever back in the area, I won’t stay anywhere else.

Very quiet, clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Kerry was fabulous and I like the fact that it's not a big, noisy resort. Close to the shops and only a short drive to the main street of Mission Beach. Thanks for everything.

Good room size, nice location, quiet and cozy. Woolworth close on Sunday. So do some shopping and start cooking!
