Undoubtedly one of Perth's most exceptional Chinese restaurants. A true gem that I would recommend to guests and friends. Conveniently located in Northbridge.

The service is top-notch: staffs are attentive and friendly.

Parking: Convenient parking downstairs (narrow that needs skilled driver lol) and on the street. I usually park at the outdoor CPP, 100m away but currently free.

Extensive selection of dishes: Generous portion, nice presenting and authentic flavors. I would say they serve some of the best snow crab in Perth, which is why we keep coming back. We got to select the crab size and watching the staff scaling - very important as this decides how much we would pay (at market price)

While the prices may not be the cheapest, they are absolutely justified by the exceptional quality of the food and the overall dining experience.

Great family restaurant. Previously known as Dragon Palace. The cantonese style Chinese food is great, however, it is on the expensive side. Their pan fried tooth fish was one of the best dish.

It was a busy night Resturant full , they missed our reservation, make us wait for 45 minutes, then manager apologised and get us nice table for ten ,
We ordered nice selection, large steam fish , pork chunk , lobster, crab , full rooster, mixed rice and followed by mango passion dessert, food was very tasty excellent choices,high light of the event is the traditional lion dance with the loud drums, we had to feed the lions with the red envelopes full with cash for feed luck ,

On balance, this could be one of the best yum cha / dim sum experiences in Perth. It’s strange that there’s hardly any queue even on weekends, as I feel like people are missing out on some of the finest dumplings in town. Having tried the roast duck, even that is of a standard that goes toe to toe against the HK BBQ House next door. To finish, both the traditional and Portuguese eggs tarts (self-assembled combo pictured) make it incredibly difficult to decide which one is better to end your meal with. They even have a small free carpark underneath the building, which might be a plus for some.

The dim sum here is pretty good at this more upmarket Cantonese restaurant that serves premium dim sum for lunch. Some of the dumplings are very ordinary like the generic and not so fresh xiao long bao, but the Cantonese classics like har gao and cheung fun are pretty much on point with flavour and texture, and some of the sweets like the pineapple bun and lau sa bao are good if you like very sweet things with the pineapple bun actually having pineapple and custard filling but sadly the lau sa bao had only a small amount of egg yolk custard filling.

The owner acts like the boss and is relatively friendly, but other staff are very ordinary but not uncommon in this type of establishment.

This used to be the Dragon Palace Chinese Restaurant.

Decor has been changed, is updated & much more modern.

Made the effort to arrive by 11am on Sunday.
Service is prompt & was shown to our table immediately.

Dim sum trolleys arrived very quickly. Quality of dishes is good and service throughout the meal was very prompt.

Restaurant got busy around noon.

Good overall experience and will come back again!

Booked for another restaurant for a private room and they said was unavailable when we showed up, got upset and called moonflower to ask if a table was available and there was for our party of 15, this was on a Friday at 7:30 as well so we were expecting to be turned away, happy to receive our large table for 15 people, good service, quick, friendly, chatty, food came out fast, good, decent price.
