Great country speedway that knows how to put on an excellent event. The spritcars were at their best and the track held up for some exciting finals racing. The bar and canteen were a welcome sight. The chips and gravy and chicken roll that we had were realy tasty. All in all a great afternoon and night out. Well done Moora

Moora speedway was made possible by one man who put up the money and went guarantor for a very large amount of money so the speedway could get the light and be able to race at night the newly formed club could not borrow any money to get it of the ground this was in1967 and thanks to this man who had the forsight and the passion for this great sport that it has gone from a dirt track to a mighty fine speedway it is to day where cars come from allover the state just to race and enjoy fellow drivers in good clean racing this man is known as "joro"
