We came and looked at bed and mattress combo due to our current bed is over 10 years old and due for a replacement. The geriatric lady that served us, looked at us like a deer in headlights when we asked about pocket spring mattresses and mattresses that have firmer side walls due to being a larger person, but her knowledge of mattresses was very poor. The store looked very old and dated, The beds looked like they haven't been changed since the great depression. Also the store had a very funky smell which made you not want to stay too long or lay your head down on the beds. While I support the elderly in the workplace, this lady took the cake. She may have escaped the local nursing home, just incase someone is looking for their lost nanna, they may want to check here.

Michael, Des and staff went above and beyond. The service was outstanding. Quality of my furniture was excellent. The after service received was outstanding. The difference is massive compared to a non run family business. We would always purchase here. Shomshe ?‍?‍?‍?

We visited Moores today to look for a replacement lounge. We received excellent service from the sales assistant and manager. They had excellent product knowledge and able to anticipate our needs. They went above and beyond to help us. We left very satisfied.
We had been to the shop previously and purchased outdoor furniture. We felt the same satisfaction at that point as well.
Would certainly recommend Moores to anyone looking to purchase quality furniture.

Bad experience the owner would give my $600 back on a deposit that I put on a lounge cause I changed my mind, the reason I changed my mind is because I measure my door width at home and couldn't get it in and because the owner said he had ordered it I couldn't get a refund back but I could have store credit to purchase something else in the store but there was nothing I liked, my lesson is to everyone who wants to purchase furniture from this bloke be aware he will steal from you and use his in store policy to refuse you of a refund so don't shop there , are so dishonest

Ever since moving here 20 yrs ago
, all my furniture, and my Mum's furniture has been brought here. The staff are always friendly and make you feel like a friend not just a customer. Would recommend this store to everyone who wants decent furniture at a great price. When delivered, they help to put your furniture together, not just leave it for you to do. Can't say enough good things about Moore's.

We are totally astounded with Moores. Their service surpassed all others when we purchased a new lounge. Our previous lounge from another retailer was returned after 18 months as a total failure. When we ordered our new lounge from Moores and were told it would take between 16 and 18 weeks we were good with that and thought we'll just watch TV in the media room ... BUT ... Moores offered us a loan recliner lounge and didn't charge to drop it off, bring it into the lounge and will remove it free of charge when the new one arrives. We've never had service like that EVER ... and they were lovely and NOT pushy. 10/10.

The sales assistant and the owner Michael went above and beyond when I went to buy a waterbed replacement. They no longer carry much stock but went to great lengths to help me. I saw an interaction with another customer that showed kindness and consideration in excess of purely commercial customer service. We have dealt with this family business for forty plus years and they have always been good to deal with, but I think the current management is extraordinarily good.
