Tested out this place from seeing many good reviews of the pie. Maybe I visited on the off day, the chunky beef pie came mostly with thick gravy and some traces of beef. The pie would be 5/10 in texture and flavour.

On the other hand the danish was very tasty and was a bit crunchy.

Pricing is acceptable here and the service is good. The bakery has outdoor seating area.

Mount Claremont Village Bakery is easily the BEST bakery in Perth. The items are all fresh, taste absolutely amazing, and there is a much broader variety beyond almost any other bakery I have seen (including unique items I have not seen elsewhere). I know there is an AMAZING variety of pies and breads that are sold, but I have only tried the sweeter items and they have truly exceptional donuts (raspberry, lemon, salted caramel, chocolate, fairy, Boston etc.), cronuts (chocolate, passionfruit), croissants (almond, almond raspberry, chocolate, cookie dough etc.), vanilla slices, tarts, Danish pastries and SO much more.

I can't think of a bakery with better food than this in the world (including top-tier European bakeries) and I am SO lucky this is located near where I live. Although the bakery is simple and elegant in appearance, don't let that fool you because it is a hidden gem. The prices are cheaper than any other bakery I have seen in the area (and I have tried a few, including Chu Bakery and Common Bakery) and the products are significantly better! I have attached photos of some of the foods I have had at Mount Claremont Bakery but I will update my review with more photos because as of now, these photos only capture at most 1/3 of the items on offer.

The owners/staff are incredibly friendly and remember you even weeks apart (despite having so many customers), and are very accomodating and helpful for orders. You can put in an order in advance when you go to the store (or even online, by the phone etc.) I know they have amazing 4 pack large jam donuts (which cost only $12 for a pack), plus 4 pack variety donuts that I think you can order in advance for $10 (with whatever flavors you like).

The cronuts are absolutely amazing and there is no other place nearby I know with cronuts let alone such high quality cronuts. My family LOVE this bakery too (they want to go multiple times a week 😊) and they are very tough critics of bakeries.

I ABSOLUTELY recommend this bakery if you are in the area, and even if you are anywhere in Perth, it is completely worth driving down here for this! I used to go to Chu Bakery and sometimes the Common Bakery in the area, but in my opinion, they do not come anywhere close to the Mount Claremont Village Bakery in terms of either quality, variety, or prices (the latter two are not a matter of opinion). I have eaten in hundreds of places worldwide (Europe, USA, Australia etc.) and the Mount Claremont Village Bakery is easily one of the BEST few places I have ever been lucky enough to try.

Can't say no to bread, especially the smell of it. Is there anything better? What I remembered was that my grandma gobbled this up when I brought it for her and she's pretty picky with her food. Then again, she's got a sweet tooth and would eat anything doused with a healthy amount of sugar so there's that.

This is one of my new favourite bakeries. Best pie I’ve had in a very long time (chunky beef), rich, tender and very delicious. Beautiful spot, great and polite staff also. Good job guys.

Shocking service. Products were good quality. Young lady told me to tap my card (after stinging me 80c of her merchant fees) and walked off out the back. No such thing as a ‘thank you’ , no goodbye or have a nice day- just zero. You probably need to reassess your position there young lady- you’re in a customer service role and that involves you engaging customers and being pleasant.
