They need to change canteen food, during year 7 and 8 you don’t mind it but after 3 years you can’t withstand eating the same piece of stale and overpriced pizza.

Very lazy school that would rather put funding towards a music program and doesn’t put enough funding in for good tasting meals .

Hey everyone I'm a year 7 that goes to this school.
At the start of the year, we had a bunch of fights and troublemakers who would do naughty things.

If your kid is a nerd and wants to go to this school then you're all set you won't get any problems.

If your kid likes to get involved in drama, don't send your kids to this school. They are guaranteed to have watched at least one or two fights for the whole year. There are so many people vaping in the toilets and forcing people to do bad things. This school also has had threats from other schools that they are going to come here and fight people after skl. (This is probably one of the most genuine and true reviews that would be on this site. I'm not being sarcastic like I'm an actual year 7 that has seen these things.

This school is so amazing and all the students are so nice and friendly. They also have lots of programs and opportunities for students.

I went to MLSHS for years 8 and 9, this was 2013-2014. All I have to say is this school was the sole reason my mental health declined at a rapid pace for those two years. As a 13/14 year old girl who was told by her “friends” that they didn’t want to be friends with her anymore it was tough, what made it worse was being told by my year 9 science teacher that my personality was off putting and unlikeable and that’s why they didn’t want me around anymore. I will give credit to a few other teachers who helped me through that time but telling someone something like that at such an impressionable age is beyond disgusting. I wish I got the apology is deserved for that but I didn’t so all I can say is DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN TO THIS SCHOOL

This school SUCKS. Teacher told me to do work. Dont know why. I was quite confused so I continued to do nothing. Staff are bad and wifi is non existant. I hate it so much here, please someone, get out of here. I walk in this school and my stomach drops. I break a sweat, my pupils dialate, I get the fight or flight response and i want to run away, But of course I cant, because Ill be suspended for 2 years. The uniform is atrocious, overpriced and overall ugly. God forbid being here on a 40 degree day. The teachers dont put the AC on despite them not being the ones paying the electricity bill. They dont have to suffer from wearing the hot, sweaty, almost see-through uniform. Do not come here. Can not believe spotify and cool math games have been blocked! This is outrageous. If I had the oppertunity to come back here, I would not. 0/1 school, do not come here!!!

Mount Lawley may seem a nice school but it is not. They focus more on the Uniform policy, Drug policy, Vaping policy, phone policy or the gum policy then the Bullying. The bullying is a big problem at Mount Lawley to the point me and several of my friends have been threatened, told go to commit die or get recorded or taken photo's without our permission. Mount Lawley should focus on this problem instead of the stupid policies here

i hate mount lawley. the students at this school are some of the most horrible people i have ever met. even the people that are part of the same community as you are horrible. so many people are having sex, doing drugs, and vaping. even the year sevens and year eights are doing that stuff and i think that’s terrible. some the teachers are fine but the majority are terrible at teaching and are just mean in general. mount lawley always boasts about their mental health awareness and their inclusivity but its all lies. student services is actually the worst thing ever. no one there is helpful, they actually make you feel worse about being mentally ill. don’t come to this school if you have mental health problems, people will bully you for it. the teachers will do nothing to help you. don’t come to this school if you’re queer because the students will call you slurs and the school does nothing to accommodate trans people. if you’re neurotypical, cis, straight, and not different in any way, maybe mount lawley is the school for you.
