This was a wonderful place to visit. We did a mini workshop where we learnt how and why veggie gardens are created in a certain way. We were also able to harvest our own veggies too! Pricing is very reasonable, and weather was perfect.
It’s great knowing there is a genuine organic farm nestled right here in the Mid Mountains.
I will be coming back for the day workshops. Rhiannon has a wealth of knowledge!

Her weekly vegetable box is amazing and I also got the opportunity to attend her food forrest workshop. She's a great teacher and I highly recommend attending a workshop with her no matter what skill level you are. I came away feeling super inspired and supported to start intentionally in the garden.

The Winter is Here workshop by Mountains Gourmet was a relaxed and informative half day up in the Blue Mountains. Rhiannon was very knowledgeable and engaging; and was clearly passionate about organic, local produce. I would highly recommend her workshops for any local gardener regardless of the size of their garden.

2025 UPDATE: I also recently attended Rhiannon’s Food Forest workshop and can highly recommend it for gardeners in the mountains or across Sydney. A fascinating blend of the latest (and accessible!) science of soil management, permaculture principles and practical tips.

My sister and I attended a Preparedness for Summer Workshop with Mountains Gourmet last week and loved it! Even though our parents have been growing their own food for as long as I can remember, I feel as though I'm a novice.

Rhiannon gave us some hands-on instructions in the 4 hour workshop plus loads of tips and information. Not to mention backing it all up with pdfs so we were free to really tune in on the day. We've already started putting some of it into practice and look forward to managing the yard and garden so much more efficiently from now on.

Our extended family experienced a farm holiday workshop this month, as a gift for our three youngest grandchildren. Rhiannon worked with me to deliver a great hybrid adult and kid friendly workshop on her Bullaburra micro-farm. We enjoyed cuddling chickens and quails, harvesting and eating our lunch, egg collection, planting, the kids flying fox and a surprise mid-morning snack.
We learned about poultry management, no dig & organic growing, managing pests and diseases with co planting and other sustainable techniques and many interesting food crops.
Rhiannon knowledgeably interacted and answered questions - two of our party are involved in bush regeneration and viticulture. Very hands on and fun! Rhiannon delivers value plus for the farm workshop. On the way home we stopped at her market garden, and as a family discount, were given and picked a veggie box of her great organic produce which we enjoyed and shared around. Thanks Rhiannon. 😊

I attended the Mountains Gourmet 'grow at home' workshop and I would highly recommend it. Rhiannon is such an amazing and knowledgeable teacher, and she is so generous with her knowledge. It was particularly helpful to get local knowledge and very practical advice for improving my vege patch. I'm already looking forward to joining her next course.
