A must visit in Mt Barker WA. This is all run by very committed and knowledgeable volunteers. The exhibits are well presented and the whole village is extremely well maintained. Thank you Donna for your friendly and informative tour which I thoroughly enjoyed, even the teeth marks in the apple.

Really loved it. Very interesting place $10/adult for the old police station & Museum tour really worth it. How many of you know the australian flag was red and later on changed to blue. Photos attached

You can walk around the village but you have to have a member of staff to take you through the buildings, not sure I'd there is a price to do that.

We were kind of on the fence re doing the tour. 10 bucks each... Well I am glad we did. Roz did a great job explaining everything and sharing the local history.
There's some great old artifacts and machinery.
If you're in the zone and have a little over an hour to spend learning about a really interesting region, I'd recommend giving it a go.
