I’m a harrisdale local, visited many times, each time hoping the last experience was a one off. Unfortunately, poor service, incomplete orders, stale cookies and hot food cold in the centre, would appear to be the norm. On my last three visits, items were left off the order, sugar on tables missing or not restocked and hot food not microwaved long enough and still cold in the centre. The girls serving customers are polite and pleasant, however they need greater training, they lack initiative and are slow to act to customer needs. Less talking amongst themselves and staying off their phones would give them more time to clear and wipe down tables, restock salt, sugar etc on tables and sweep the floor. I will never return, this store is a disappointment to the muffin break franchise.

Ordered a kids hot chocolate and saw it come up on the screen "lukewarm" Got it delivered and it came with sprinkles and marshmallows and the PERFECT temperature for my 3yo. It's amazing how many places get kids drinks wrong! Girls are always smiling and drinks are consistently good.. so glad this is my local!! 😁

The man working seriously needs to be fired. The attitude on the man is out of this world. I ordered chocolate chip muffin and a cappuccino to dine in. I watched him rush my coffee, he burnt the milk to the point i couldn’t even drink it because it was so burnt. My muffin was cold and tasted stale, i told him and he said that he doesn’t have time to make a new one. DO NOT COME HERE

Great Family Café. Owners are very genuine and friendly, I always leave there feeling well looked after. They provide a warm experience with they're unique touch to the franchise. I can always go in with the certainty of great coffee and fresh food. Very happy with the service.

If I could give 0 stars, I would.

Every time I go to this Muffin Break I leave disappointed. There’s never enough staff on (usually one poor girl!). Today I went and ordered a lactose free flat white and a lactose free baby chino. Luckily I had a sip of the baby chino before I gave it to my toddler as the milk was SOUR! If my poor child had drank it, he would’ve ended up extremely unwell. I also tried the flat white and surprise, it was also SOUR. The milk was OFF. When we returned the coffee to the owner, he gave us funny looks and said “the milk is in date.” He then tasted it and proceeded to give us funny looks. The coffees were made with new milk but it’s not good enough. People could end up very sick from the lack of care. I certainly won’t be returning! 🤬

Customer service could be trained to better handle customers. Coffee spilled by staff and left as is. I had to clean it myself.

NEED EXTRA STAFF - 2 People frustrated waiting to be served at counter.
I ordered coffee and cakeI received cake unfortunately I didn’t receive my coffee I waited 20 minutes I think she has forgotten me. I have to leave as I have an appointment. Oh I have it now but have to skull it. Young lady is doing her best on her own….. and she apologised…. Oh another stuff member arrived 1pm Thursday

Went to Muffin Break for breakfast this morning with a friend of mine, we ordered a toasted sourdough with bacon and egg which was rock hard. We called over the waitress and complained and she said she would speak to the chef. 20 minutes later and still no response from either one of the two people that were there, the chef and the waitress.
I would not recommend purchasing breakfast there to anyone and neither will I be going back it sucks.
