I got a caramel slice and the chocolate part is thick and taste like expired fondant. I can’t taste the caramel and the biscuit is dry. otherwise I love muffin break the coffees and muffins are the best

Muffin Break, has a long history at Whitfords, my first encounter was 87-88, therefore several changes in franchisee's.
Consistency being the challenge.
My recent encounter, with dishes other than muffins, was the quiche, coarsely chopped, bacon, onions, over use of herbs totally overpowering, the subtle flavours, the original French savoury pastry is known for.
Sadly I'm drawn to the conclusion this inexcusable mistake, may have infiltrated further into the menu, I hope not as it's a great meeting place and refuge from the maddening crowd.
Give our long suffering patrons a reason to return.

The store had advertised that they sell the Pepsi Max spiders, after paying and waiting i was informed that they couldn’t do it because they didn’t have the correct cups. After asking if they can just put it in a normal takeaway cup the lady refused and gave no reasoning as to why she couldn’t.

I ordered oat milk flat white extra hot. When then called out my order they said oat milk Latte ( I was the only one waiting) I said I ordered a flat white the man went on to say oh yes I mean flat white then the girl whispered and giggled into his ear …. Doesn’t she know flat white and latte the same thing. I took the coffee. It was horrible very weak and cold. Ended up throwing it strait in the bin. I will never go there again after many years of good service. New owners disappointing.

My husband had a flat white and I had a latte. They were very weak. I couldn't taste any coffee, it was just warm milk. My husband coffee was the same, no coffee taste at all but milk. We will never go back to have coffee here. There are plenty of cafes which can make better coffee. If you like milky and weak coffee, this is the place to go

Was there a change in management? "New" owners have no idea about customer service. After tapping my credit card, the usual routine is for the staff to ask "would you like a copy?". Instead, she just walked away without acknowledging that the transaction was accepted. Also, a copy of the receipt was still on the ipad screen for everyone to see. Very rude staff. Extremely disappointed - also had to wait 30 minutes for English Breakfast tea. How hard is it to pour some hot water into a pot

This place has disgusting food. One day I ordered a spinach and cheese slice and my friend had a zucchin slice and they were both horrible.... not sure it it was the quality of the ingredients or the preparation. I swore i would never eat there again. Last week i ate at Muffin Break Ellenbrook and ordered the chill chicken wrap and it was delicious . I decided to order this at the Whitfords Muffin Break and it was again disgusting .... sloppy, half toasted ..... not nice at all. The coffee was great, but sorry i will never order food again.
