I called in to Mulford plastics today to enquire about buying acrylic for student projects.
The woman who attended to me, grudgingly, and from a distance, was unhelpful, disinterested and rude. As I was already there, I purchased what I needed but I will not return and will recommend to my colleagues to buy their supplies elsewhere in future.

Very poor service. Appeared uninterested when we went to their showroom to place an order on the 18th March. Lady we spoke to said she would email lead time and quote. Pretty sure she just decided that our three sheet marine board order wasn't worth her time. My partner and I thought she was a female version of Basil Fawlty. I'm sure she only pretended to write down my phone number. I couldnt tell because she never left her desk at the back of the showroom the whole time. Still waiting for her response. Its now the 13th May.
No point having a retail shop front if you only want wholesale customers.
Fortunately we have a sense of humour and my parftner and I often recount to others how disasterously bad this person was trying to come up with the most unlikely reasons for her having such a bad day. She even has her own acronym (RBF) within our conversations.

After waiting two weeks we went to Plastral in Malaga where the service was the opposite of our experience here. Even gave us a lead time, price and reciept for payment like a real store and everything.

Dropped by to see what offcuts they had and paid 10 bucks total for a white 40cmx30cm (3mm) and transparent 30cmx80cm(1.5mm) sheet. Feels a bit like a rip off but since i only know these suppliers so far i went with it.
Staff is extremely unmotivated, unknowledgeable and generally seemingly put off by any in person customer interaction. Maybe just a bad day but still, this is my experience at least.

Holders of exclusive distributorship of Makrolon, but do not stock the best thermally performing part of the product range. Then even if you're happy to wait, the minimum order quantity is excessive for typical projects. Extremely disappointing.

Same poor service everyone else seems to have received with the staff.
Picking up an order and were so unhelpful.
Then giving some unacceptable sour verbal attitude once the manager told him he had do have to do it. 👍

Very unhelpful. Didn't like the look of me it seems. He got his workman to make sure I left the office. Had to give him one star unfortunately.
