Nicest BHP Village I've stayed at so far. The food is hit and miss in quality and that's most likely because of the very tight budget they have to adhere to. I love the facilities and especially the 2 and 3 story buildings incorporating the dry mess and Cafe, tavern areas, beer garden and landscaped gardens, there's always seems to be a washing machine and dryer available and never that far from any of the dongas. It almost feels like a resort in the desert.

Stayed a couple of nights last March. It's relatively newish. Rooms clean with enough space. Food is good & dinning room design is nice. All in all, for a mining camp it was a pleasant stay.

I agree it's a large camp but way to big, considering it suppoed to be a moddern camp they should have built two storey villas like FMG to condense the spread, ling walks to your room and if raining you get soaked before getting either to your room or to the mess hall. The cleaners also don't care if you are in nights when cleaning a room beside you making noise and waking you up, reception is basically lip service and don't do anything about it otherwise this wouldn't still be happening. The food, I'll leave it there, although I have lost weight which says it all. Smokers still smoke near rooms and the stink goes into your room.
I never like going to Mulla Mulla camp, the only thing I like about it is when I leave.

It’s good, but it has been a lot better !! 2018-19 construction MAC had a lot of ppl ( contractors ) working there!! The Mulla Mulla camp was pretty much at full capacity. Upstairs dinning was the Bomb, entertainment with Bands etc in the Wet mess garden area, an outside open theatre and lots more !! The Dry mess is hit n miss depending on chef rosters. 8/10 score rate from me as the ESS staff are & always really helpful, polite and friendly!!

Even the bigger rooms have dog box walls. I can hear my neighbours phone conversations. Room is unclean , fridge door was left open by the cleaners so the freezer has iced up, the floor in my room is gritty after it’s been cleaned. A bit of spray and wipe goes a long way. Food is hit and miss , Civeo are far above and beyond what ESS are doing. Shop is really expensive. Feel like a prisoner here who’s permitted to go to work and back again. And as for work, well I refuse to comment on the grounds that it may incriminate.

Camp itself is awesome the facilities are well kept and the mess areas are good pool is amazing ECT but reason for such a low rating is the linens not properly changed only the sheets are the blanket covers themselves don't get changed so if the bloke prior to you has knocked one out and sent his baby batter across the blankets ya probably going to be sleeping with his DNA also so if ya want a comfortable stay I suggest tossing the blanket and running the heater a little warmer or just sleep fully clothed in tomorrow's work gear genuinely made me feel ill knowing my room had been serviced and the same stain on my blanket cover is still there 🤮 bloody disgusting ill be bringing my own blanket next swing
