View was amazing. Food was good. Service was good at the beginning but as the night went on, not s much. Ie couldn't find anyone to take our dessert order, our plates weren't cleared before dessert brought out and not offered any drinks.

Food was good. Duck Ragu & Fish & chips were great
For dessert, I had the sticky date pudding which was lovely. My friend had Oreo cheesecake and tasted really bland.

Overall was good though.

I came with a large group (18 of us) of family and friends for a birthday celebration last night. I was very happy with the quality of the food and drink, and the service was excellent. Members of my party were having a hard time remembering what they ordered and last minute amendments to our meals were handled with not a raised eyebrow to be seen. The atmosphere was great and the interior design very tasteful. As an ex restaurant/ bar manager, I was very impressed by what I saw here. It's likely not a consideration for most, but even the toilet cubicles are raised far enough off the floor that if a patron were to loose consciousness locked inside, paramedics would have no problem gaining access, which I always think is super cool to see. Thanks again guys

Great location - unfortunately though the service in the restaurant is a tad slow - they didn’t have the main air con on - we had to ask- and frankly the food is very ordinary . It’s a shame as it’s a lovely hotel - great location and the bar area is always lively. But I won’t be eating there again. I don’t know if the cooks have changed but the first time I ordered steak - I sent it back got a refund it was that bad- this time fish n chips - yeah had three mouthfuls and that was that. Where are decent chefs these days

We are regular visitors to the hotel due to the great location, food and service. Unfortunately service was not up to their usual standard. After being seated it took 10 minutes to be offered water or to take a drinks order. From then on there was a distinct lack of staff offering table service to the outside area where we were seated. On two occasions we had to get up and order drinks at the bar.
On a brighter note, the food was brilliant as usual.
Please up the standards of the staff as we would like to continue being a patron.

Can’t comment on the rooms as we didn’t stay.
Just went for dinner for my wife’s 30th. A group of 7, we ordered in separate groups to help split the bill. I order my wife’s and mine, mine took an extra 15 minutes to turn up, alongside side the olives we ordered. After following that up we ordered another round of drinks. Nothing turned up for a further 15-20, to the point we all just got up and left as it was clearly a waste of time waiting any longer.

We followed up with one staff member and I fully get it’s not her fault, but the staff just did not seem to care at all for any form of service. Our table was only half way cleared, no follow up on if a dessert was wanted. Just baffled at the lack of care.

It wasn’t even busy, so they can’t use that as an excuse. Just dismal really. All that and plus the 15% extra charge for a bank holiday.

We’ve always enjoyed visiting this venue, so we decided to book a table in the restaurant area for New Year’s Day. Unfortunately, our experience this time fell short.

We were seated at a high table and noticed a discrepancy in service compared to regular tables nearby. While other guests had waitstaff taking their orders, we were asked to order via a QR code (which wasn’t functioning) or directly at the bar.

The fish and chips we ordered were also disappointing—the chips were lukewarm, the fish was very oily, and it lacked seasoning and flavour. We chose not to raise this at the time because the venue was busy, as we didn’t want to put more pressure on the staff, but it didn’t change the fact that the experience was underwhelming.

After finishing our meal, we hoped to order dessert, but our table was never cleared, even as the restaurant grew quieter. We noticed that other tables were being attended to, but ours was not, which ultimately led us to leave without dessert.

Afterwards, the venue emailed us asking for feedback, and I took the time to provide thoughtful, constructive input. Disappointingly, they didn’t even acknowledge my email. That lack of care, especially when they initiated the feedback process, reflects poorly on their customer service.

While we’ve had positive experiences here in the past, this visit—and their carelessness—left us deeply disappointed. I hope this review encourages the venue to take customers feedback more seriously and improve their service.

My daughter and I are visiting my daughter and family who are long term Mullaloo residents who decided to have dinner at this establishment.
WOW! absolutely fantastic, ease of booking a table, waitress was excellent and did an excellent job that was highly commendable! Food was quickly on our table and was superb. As were the drinks. Sunset set the ambiance and was photographed by many dinners. Thank you MULLALOO BEACH HOTEL RESTAURANT a very memorable experience.

Early lunch today. Bright, clean and welcoming. We chose inside air conditioned option for seating. My lamb pilaf salad with feta and pomegranates was simply excellent!
