Nev is a consummate professional tradesman and small business owner. Nev is still old school Cairns and is well known around Far North Queensland for his excellent work, honest, fair prices, and assessments on what you are trying to achieve with your build. I wouldn't go anywhere else in Cairns. I recently had one of Nev's excellent tradesmen (Dusty) build my tray and canopy and I could not be happier. The workmanship is beyond reproach and it lived up to what I expected in a tray and canopy build. During the build I dropped in every couple of days and chatted to Nev and Dusty and discussed many changes along the way recommended by Nev and Dusty. And when I had a brainwave of what I might like, it was never a problem to make minor changes during the build. I regularly get comments of how good my tray and canopy look and how robust it is structurally. If you want what you want, and not what the manufacturer wants; NB Prop works in the way to go. You won't be disappointed. I have attached a couple of pictures of my tray and canopy.

Had Nev do a centre pod with duckboards for my boat. Even though he was very busy he managed to fit me in. I’ve had work done by him before & as usual this job was done to the highest standards. His work really is first class & I have nothing but praise for him & his staff.

Had a small job repairing a cast alloy garden shredder part which is no longer available. Nev did an awesome repair job on the part at a great price, ultimately saving me $400 for a new shredder. I knew I could rely on Nev and the boys from past experience. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. 👍👍👍

Rang this chap when I was at Kurrimine beach after badly damaging my stainless steel prop, drove up to his workshop and gave him my badly damaged stainless prop. As he told me on the phone, he was very busy and would try to fit it in. He rang me about 2 hours later and said it was ready. When he presented me the prop, I actually said “did you have a spare prop?”, no he said, we just repaired yours. I honestly could not believe how good the repair was/is. He remoulded the cup in all 3 blades, balanced the prop and presented me with a bill to which I said was not enough for the job done, he shrugged his shoulders and smiled, it’s what we do he said. I was gobbed smacked.. cannot fault his work, the prop looks and performs brand new.. Totally recommend this craftsman.
