Great room at a reasonable price in Newman for a family. But there seem to be a truck or rubbish bin hang out place right next to a chalet that we were put up in. The whole family was woken up at 4.30 am and the truck stayed there for an entire hour. In an entire empty place of chalets and they put us up right next to a rubbish collection site. Writing this at 5.30 in the morning…. Also, right next to a main road and in front of a service station.

Every staff member was extremely helpful and friendly. We stayed in the car park for two nights - toilets very clean. Water available and dump point. Bought lovely gifts and enjoyed a scones etc. One week later I rang to purchase another item and again the staff were fantastic to deal with and there was no problem with posting item back to Perth. Thank you Newman Visitor Centre for making Newman a pleasant stop over. Elizabeth Mavrick

Fantastic service from all the staff at the Visitor Centre, particularly with the unexpected issues with the caravan parks. We were provided a quiet seat, power and wifi to watch a live stream of our friend's funeral with the staff checking that we were okay.
At the temporary park the facilities are clean, showers are hot and a short walk to shops and the pub. While the setting may not be ideal, it's more about the people you meet which made for a pleasant stopover. Locals were friendly and happy to see visitors in town.
Well done πŸ™‚πŸ™‚πŸ™‚πŸ™‚πŸ™‚
