Having come to Darwin, went out to the NT Field and Game range where I was welcomed by all. The range has shooting every Friday afternoon from 3pm till 8:30pm and every Sunday from 9am. Friday nights there are grounds with lights for night shooting. All the layouts are permanently setup and run off a pre-paid card system or tokens, where you can either shoot with others or on your own utilising the delayed release system. Gun hire and ammunition is available at the club, as is tuition if required. Gun licence not required. Types of grounds are Field & Game, Five Stand and Skeet.
