Been coming to these markets for years. Organic produce is always very fresh, varied & of beautiful quality, mixed with a kind, welcoming & convivial atmosphere amongst stall holders & patrons alike. Standing out are Nicki & Jason of Story Deli, coming forward with the most amazing, constantly changing array of offerings. The lightest, most delicious cakes on the planet! Stunning quiches, crumpets, salads & pickled vegetables just bursting with flavour & organic goodness. Also high on the list is Lise of The Herbal Gardener. Her select line of natural skin care products have a faithful following of those "in the know". The flowers & herbs contained within all carefully grown & blended by this kind lady. Great coffee at this market also! Too many others to mention here, only to say what a very important & appreciated asset this superb market is to Brisbane city.

Large outdoor market on Sunday mornings with several vendors of fresh produce as well as healthy beverages, healthfood-store items, a Japanese tofu booth (popular Agedashi sticks), sourdough bread, a mushroom farmer, organic nuts and packaged bulk foods from Our Organics, hot pies by Byron Gourmet (two GF vegan pies available), vegan-milk kefir, kombucha, fruit juices. Other organic products, such as herbs, oils and tinctures. Sometimes, buskers entertain. The City Farm cafΓ© (Yoke) offers vegan bowls, curries, chai, good filter coffee and sweet treats. The nursery sells seedlings and more.

Absolutely love this place, However one vendor here I find dodgy is the chocolate guy! Every time without fail they over charge never give me correct change, this has happened every interaction! This wkend was the last straw he charged $26 for 2 chocolates on my card! The price clearly marked $9 each!, then he said one of the chocolates I got was a bit more expensive, double the price is not a bit more expensive it's double the price! Both chocolate being exactly the same size!!! He should be ban from these markets as I said he is always doing it and getting the kids that work at his stall occasionally to short change people also!

Another vendor the larger butcher in the big stall meats in the white boxes, nasty woman there was selling puppies from a cardboard box unvaccinates puppies on the dirty ground! DISGUSTING beyond belief!
This really is a beautiful place to shop but a couple of these mentioned unsavoury vendors should be ban from the place!

Probably the best market in all of Brisbane shame there's never a car park and if you don't come in the first hour and get trampled by thousands of people your guaranteed to not get anything you were after.
