We spent a night in a safari tent at the resort, and it was a wonderful experience. The safari tents are fabulous, especially for families with kids. The shower and outdoor bathtub were fantastic. The check-in and check-out process was easy and smooth. Thank you so much for making our trip memorable.

It's a caravan park that's well run, clean, quiet, and they've got air, diese, petrol, and a little shop with enough emergency supplies to get you out of any trouble. There's a coffee shop serving breakfast and lunch.
On the downside, the amenities blocks are a little tired and in need of a lick of paint, paper towels, and a decent hand dryer (Dyson). There's no pool. However, the South Pacific is just across the road. (So plenty of room for a swim) On the whole, it's a rather beautiful spot to visit for a couple of days, or weeks.

Excellent location. Good facilities, though slightly run down and dated (e.g. bathrooms). Lots of smokers were annoying, not that it's the fault of the park of course. However, they could have been more diligent with checking the sites, because the caravan next to us was parked slightly over onto our site, making it hard to get into the car.

We have been coming up from Brisbane every year during September holidays with the extended family and friends, & we have met some wonderful people during our visits here. Amazing location as it's right on the beach, well maintained facilities & attracts the friendliest travellers. Absolutely love it, will be regulars every year 👌

Absolutely exceptional.. Julie the manager and her team make you so welcome.. friendly and caring, very aware with your stay and your needs. Our beachfront villa was brilliant. Fully equipped and incredibly clean. Facilities within the park are spotless and well maintained. Very pet friendly and incredibly friendly.. this is a must do as directly opposite the beach with beautiful National Park walks, swims and Rest and relaxation. My advice is don’t plan to be at this park/ unit for one night as you will regret that decision as truely a beautiful place to spend time.. 👍. If I could give an 11 score out of 10 I would… perfect..

Unfortunately we only stayed one 1⃣ night as my wife had an accident and we had to leave the next day. The food at the little van at the entrance was great and the service was excellent. The manager of Woodgate offered me a refund of my site fees when I told her that we had to leave. Will definitely go back when wife gets better.

Caravan park is in a fantastic location, straight across from the beach. Customer service was excellent, park is clean and the amenities block and camp kitchen were both immaculately clean.Layout of the park is fabulous with beautiful trees.

We were only visiting Woodgate for the day and had to wash our bedding from our motorhome as puppy had pee pee on it! Laundromat was not operating and so asked at the park. How grateful we were to be allowed to use their coin operated machines. We've stayed there before and our daughter with young family from brisbane stays every September hols.
