THINK TWICE BEFORE CALLING THIS COMPANY FOR AC SERVICE OR REPAIRS

We initially called M&H Air in December 2023 to come and inspect our ducted air-conditioning at home. Initially, they had a technician come out quickly. But that is where the customer service and care ended.

We were told for almost two months that they were waiting on parts. We have to continually followed them up time and time again. We made it through multiple 40-degree-plus days while waiting until we were told the parts had arrived (after we called them again).

Last Friday, we finally had an appointment for mid-afternoon. However, despite my wife taking the day off to allow them access, we received a phone call an hour after the appointment to say they were not coming and to call the office on Monday to reschedule.

Monday morning 19th Feb 2024, we called and asked Leisha at M&H Air to reappoint us ASAP, and the earliest time they had available was two weeks away. I expressed my disappointment to Leisha, who said she had nothing available for two weeks. "We are very busy at the moment".

I called a well-known competitor, and they are coming this afternoon. I forwarded them the quote I was provided and gave them our air conditioner's model number. Not only do they have the parts in stock, but they were also $600 CHEAPER!!!

Our A/C unit will be inspected today, and repairs are booked to be completed this coming Wednesday. NOW THAT IS REAL SERVICE!!

Upon leaving this review, I became aware of all the other unhappy customers who also left one-star reviews. Our biggest regret was calling M&H Air before anyone else and not checking reviews. If you also want to avoid disappointment, consider a different business.

This company install our ducted air system four years ago, and the experience has been disappointing. The system was not properly insulated, resulting in excessive condensation in the roof cavity, which has caused mould issues on the ceiling below. I have tried contacting the company multiple times, with five emails sent over the last month, but they have not responded or answered the phone. Their lack of communication and unwillingness to rectify the issue is incredibly frustrating. I would strongly recommend looking for a more reliable provider, as you will not receive any service or support from this company.

Terrible installation into brand new Metricon home and now the company has gone into administration. Poor duct installation and system lost its gas before handover. Even after it was regassed it still doesn’t heat or cool like it should. Very disappointing.

Technician turned up on time, no issues. Took 30 minutes to diagnose, that I may have a faulty thermostat. Left 30 minutes after arrival. When I rang to pay the account I was told the bill was far more than I'd been quoted. $100 call out and $85/ hour. When questioning the account the admin lady was great, said she contact the technician and get back to me, which she did, resulting in the account being just less than the $185 I'd expected. Saving me $85 from the invoice created by the technician who claimed an extra hour labour on his invoice. Great service, being that they arrived in time and diagnosed the issue quickly, but really poor firm trying to add an extra hours labour for nothing. Happily paid the $185 but will not be calling again.

From the initial quote through to install I could not speak more highly of the team at M&H Air. It was the best price we were quoted, had a quick turnaround from go-ahead to install and the installers turned up on time and were the nicest tradies I have encountered, very friendly and efficient at what they do. Highly recommended.

Steer clear of this firm- they'll waste your time and money. The "original" M& H air installed our fujitsu system that has never cooled the house properly. It broke after 6 years of hardly being used. They installed a new motor for $1300 which didn't fix it and we waited 4 months for a quote for the remainder of repairs (which still hasn't come). We got conflicting reports from the technicians and owner of company (when you can manage to get onto him). We were eventually told the original system was too small and we should just buy a bigger one for $7000!

This business is a ripoff. The technician they sent was obviously an apprentice who obviously didn't know much. He spent about 8 minutes at my home, then said he'd have to refer to his boss. For this I was charged $157.
