I have been training at the Ocean Reef First Tae Kwon Do dojang with my family of 4 for many years. From the moment we started we have all found the environment to be welcoming and Area Senior Instructor Darrell, Instructor Jamus and Assistant Instructors to be totally focused to provide their best for their students. ASI Darrell conducts a challenging but also enjoyable class for the whole family. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend for anyone, young or old, that wants to work on their fitness, build a strong mind and spirit and learn the traditional art of tae kwon do.

Instructors at this branch are very experienced in Tae Kwon Do skills and have always supported me on my journey to improve, both mentally and physically.

There is always a variety of exercises to improve my fitness and strength.

I also like that this class is family friendly and caters for both children and adults.

We have been attending as a family of 4 since 2016. The instructors are very welcoming and encouraging of people of all ages. They push people to work within their abilities while keeping the atmosphere light & fun. Perfect opportunity to get fit and keep your brain working!

A great sport and personal development activity all rolled into one! Our 14 yr old son was missing out on physical activity before joining the FTKD team at Ocean Reef. Since he did though he has never looked back. Apart from being fitter and healthier than he has ever been he also has grown in confidence and made new friends along the way.

Great job to the FTKD Ocean Reef team. If your child needs confidence, strength and fitness building - give Tae Kwon Do a go at FTKD Ocean Reef.

The instructors are all very dedicated to the art and provide each and every student with patient and professional instructions. For the past 9 years in this art, I have gained a lot of self confidence and has made me a more independent and better person. It also improves one's fitness, strength and self confidence all while setting a fun and enjoyable experience during class.

As a traditional, non-competition school, I've learned a practical form of self defence and have been able to better myself through discipline, respect and dedication to the art.
