We visited Oranje Tractor farm on a sunny winter’s day and sat in a garden setting for our Wine Flight tasting experience. Murray is passionate about regenerative farming and provided unique insight into the growing process. We also received a lovely welcome from Pam and enjoyed chatting about shared interests. There were four wines to try, a Sparkling, a Riesling, a Pinot Noir and a Merlot. These were paired with delicious morsels of cheese, olives, dried fruit and nuts making for a very gourmet delight. It was a special treat to finish with a refreshing vermouth on ice.

Safe to say this is our favourite winery in the region. The owners have done a wonderful job of creating a perfectly relaxed and peaceful environment. Their love for their natural produce and nature in general is evident from their quality wine, to their beautiful landscape, as well as their spectacular taste vintage in furniture decor. Badminton is a must. Highly recommend to everyone to stop in to taste all they offer and soak up the surrounds.

Not only are the wines delicious (check out the Pinot blushed Rosé) but the vineyard is now net carbon negative and organic. Winning on every front. Don't miss it if you are down Albany way. Pam and Murray will look after you.

Do not visit Albany and miss this place! The farm is so pretty and the cellar door is quirky and wonderful. Thoroughly recommend the tasting session with paired nibbles. Some of the best riesling we've had. Murray the owner gave us a great introduction to organic growing. Thank you!

If you want to better understand organic viniculture and organic farming in general, then this is a wonderful way to start. Murray's passion for the land and what he and Pam are doing here is infectious.
Their wines are very good (as evidenced by their numerous awards) and they were presented to us with matching local produce.
Murray provided a well rounded package of wine tasting, food and education.
Worth wandering in if you're in the area and have an hour or two to spare.
