Love Otto's itself. So much variety of items which are hard to find elsewhere. The Spirited Goat is our addiction. Coffee and hot chocolate. Breakfasts are yummy, Moroccan eggs (currently) my personal favourite but I haven't tried everything yet. 😉 Also working our way through the lunch menu. Georgia and the staff always have a smile and a yarn even though they have to whizz around!
I'm told we must try the pizza place and we're Thai (food) curious.

ordered a toasted ham and cheese sandwich today, only to be given a cold disaster. The contents were so cold , the only place with any warmth was the outside bread, nothing was melted and it was just a waste of money.
why not ask them to heat it. Well there was a pregnant before us who ordered the same thing and requested it to be heat, hot please, only to tell the wait staff to microwave wave it hot so she can complain when she burns her mouth. She then told the lady, we are not supposed,
unpleasant experience for all involved.

Terrific food outlet in Townsville. The range of products available is extensive. A bakery with a great selection of breads, cakes and pastries, butchery with fresh meats and prepared meals, canned and bottled foods, fresh sandwiches and rolls all jostle for attention. Definitely a great place to shop.

I come here at least three times a week and absolutely love it. They have awsome pies and nice strong coffee and I am always greeted with a smile. There is a great range of international food and local high quality fresh produce at a reasonable price. Their antipasto range is beyond what you would usually find in Townsville and they constantly rotate the stock to have new platters and product. The only part of Otto's I am not highly impressed with is the food from the kitchen as it can be bland and lifeless especially the breakfast menu. On the other hand the bar serves ice cold scooners and other mixed drinks with awsome service. I highly recommend Otto's to everyone I know.

Came back after a few years to this new location and food disappointing not as fresh as we remembered when we used to go to the other main location. Toastie was squashed like a pancake with no care, cheesecakes were not fresh cream hardened strawberry wilted. Will try the other one this holiday hopefully its still as good as we remember

Otto's is a special place and must be experienced for any Townsville visit, and now there is more of them to visit. Lines can be big at peak times as is so popular. Deli, sweets, drinks, coffee, baked goods, chocolate what isn't there to love. Great food and many great events being run all through the year, check it out.

I used to love Otto’s until they handed my daughter an iced matcha without the matcha essentially just plain milk and ice. Completely ridiculous maybe they should’ve specified they had run out of matcha before I had ordered and payed for it, a complete waste of money. I usually don’t complain about the wait time either but not only were 3 clearly inexperienced baristas fussing about making the drink but none of them had the guts to own up to their mistake and offer a refund or apologise at the least.
