Graeme is very knowledgeable and a great help when choosing your ingredients. There are a large variety of ingredients both for beer and spirits brewing. He store also has replacement parts for your stills. Definitely worth a visit.

I have been a customer at both Oxenford and Nerang Brew shops for many years.

Recently Heidi and Steve have taken over the business from Karen and Graham.

I have found both Heidi and Steve to be very friendly and helpful.

They always help when in store and want to ensure you find what you need, or will make sure they get it for you.

They have an amazing range of stock for any brewing, stilling or related hobbies and are working hard to make everyone's experience in store to be positive and productive.

I would highly recommend coming into either store and supporting their family business as they look to build it into something exciting for customers.

They need to update their knowledge, customer service, and general approach to what they do and see that brewing has progressed beyond malt extract and weird spirit distilling alone.

I needed a keg poppet valve and thought I'd give the local guy a go. The poppets retail for $1.

I rang before I went and the shop confirmed they had what I needed. When I arrived, the older gent fluffed around for about 10 minutes trying to find the part I needed. That's OK, as it's probably not the usual thing they do. Eventually he found one old dusty one up the back of his rack and I thought, brilliant! Done deal.

Then I asked how much.

I get he's a smaller sole trader and the mark up will be more. But when he said $12, I did ask him if he was sure. He said yes.

That's the last time I will give him money. Could have been the start of a good business for him...

Thought I would give the local a try when I was looking for a specific yeast but told that I should use something else. Went to Nerang brewing and got exactly what I wanted. Won't go back.

I understand this is a small business but far out $40 a KG for C02? That's insane. Prices are not competitive when it comes to yeast, grain and especially hops
