My mother has been a resident of Pacific Lodge for the past 3 years. Whilst there has been some positive improvements at this facility, there is a way to go. Increased manual handling for all care staff and clear concise communication for dementia residents,, more frequent live entertainment (covid allowing) and better training for staff and management of the lazy staff. Overall, the staff are kind and caring and some key staff are very professional and keep the place running, however, this is not across all streams of the facility and needs to be cross section of staff with adequate training to improve my rating.

My mother lives in Pacific Lodge Aged Care centre and she is well cared for by caring, dedicated staff.
It is a very modern, clean facility, well run and the management has very good listening skills and acts on all requests and questions.
