A decent walk, it took our family of four about 3.5 hours to complete with a picnic stop at white rock. The walk itself is very easy and only inclines and is challenging right at the end. The kids were blown away by the rock's size and overall was a pretty cool family day out. We saw a kangaroo and could hear lots of birds.

Amazing. Did a night walk with 2 g8 rangers from Ipswich council. Book these walks and do them. We saw a legless lizard, spiders, bugs, ancient rock formations, spectacular night silhouettes from the trees with our head lamps. Fantastic feeling of peace and quiet. Watch out for swamp wallabies and possums..enjoy it, preserve it, be aware of it..

Lush green picnic area with plenty of space for the kids to run around and explore. There is parking provided however it can get busy during weekends and school holidays. No barbecues are available however you could always bring a packed lunch from home, stop and get some fish and chips or burgers on the way with plenty of local offerings for food in the surrounding area for food including take away and supermarkets. This area is home to a lot of wildlife so try to refrain from feeding the animals and take your rubbish with you when you leave so animals do not pull your food scraps from the minimal bins provided. Short and long distance hiking options are available so pack enough water if you plan on exploring. There are also plenty of mountain biking and horse riding trails. The park is dog friendly however domestic animals should remain on a leash for the safety of native animals and your pets.
