Loved the Unicorn and Lion replica statues on the outside of the building. they're really cute!
I heard that the lion is named Digby and the Unicorn is named Katherine.

A beautiful place to walk around in the evening with the children, especially with the flowers around and easy access to the city.

Did the 2pm public tour and got to visit the Assembly and Council chambers. Both were spectacular to experience from the member's seats but the tour talked mostly about the legislative process and not much at all about the building or the history of WA politics. You can take photos inside but if you try and hang back on the way out for a few seconds to try and get some without other people in them the guide will get cross. I noticed there were a lot of display cases, especially outside the Legislative Council chamber, but strangely no time is allowed to look at them. I have still given 5 stars as it is an impressive building worth seeing in person.

Parliament House, Perth is located on Harvest Terrace in West Perth, Western Australia. It is the home of the Parliament of Western Australia, including the Legislative Council (upper house) and Legislative Assembly (lower house).

The Swan River Colony's original (1832) Legislative Council was housed in small 1830s government offices in St Georges Terrace, and the (1890) Legislative Assembly in Howick Street near the Town Hall. An 1897 Royal Commission recommended proposals to house the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly in the same building, and suggested two possible locations: the site of the existing Legislative Council in St Georges Terrace, and the hill in Harvest Terrace, behind the Pensioner Barracks. After designs were completed for both sites, the Royal Commission recommended the St Georges Terrace site. Politicians John Winthrop Hackett and George Leake favoured the Harvest Terrace site, which was eventually chosen by Parliament.

Students are driving taxis 80 hours per weak under swan taxi and 13 cabs platform, while they are obliged to not work more than 24 hours , have sent several e-mails to all departments , ritta saffioti and labour is ignoring this matter.
Citizens who drive for living are depressed and their families are suffering.
