We visited Pemberton while travelling through , we initially booked 1 day thinking this would be a short stop over.
After setting up camp and the vibe we felt we ended up staying 5 nights.
The sites are large and easy to reverse into.
Plenty of trees for shade and large green open spaces to enjoy.
There are different amenities blocks located throughout the caravan park , a little dated but was very acceptable for a country caravan park.
We really enjoyed our time at Pemberton Caravan park and everything Pemberton has to offer. We thoroughly recommend you consider this town as a bit of R&R while travelling..

We had 2 nights, beautiful surrounds. Nice walks, easy walk into town for an early morning coffee. Toilet blocks are fine, great value and amenities. Had a chat with Jason. This is a community owned park who are not out to make big money. Doing a great job. šŸ‘

Pemberton itself was a lovely surprise with a fabulous bakery, bike trails, a pool and pretty surroundings, and the service at the CVP made it even better.
We arrived on an overcast Thursday and asked for an unpowered site (save money to spend on caramel eclairs at the bakery, lol). The unpowered site we were given was terrible for solar, it was completely in the shade. Alas, we went back to reception and asked whether we could go to the overflow area (a large grass paddock behind reception, with very little shade). We were told that the boss could make that decision tomorrow and in the meantime, we were sent to a powered site that had good sunlight.
We ended up in the overflow area for the next four nights and it was wonderful. Quiet and bright, lots of sunshine for us to charge our house battery.
Sadly, we didn't see the resident Quokka that had been gracing the town's fb page but it was still a lovely stopover and I'd be happy to stay there again.

Not sure what amenities people are saying are old and outdated. The one time sitting in writing this is fresh and clean. The sites down by the creek may be closer to camping than a flash fancy park but are spacious and have power and water. Maybe it's my kind of park without tribes of kids running and riding around and yuppy families everywhere. The bloke in the office was really friendly, helpful and welcoming of us and our dogs.
Top spot.

Even with the park three quarters occupied, it is a very quiet place lending itself to you being able to relax. ||Ideally located within easy walking distance of the town centre. ||Love the surroundings of bush and being able to venture off on many of the designated walk tracks. ||Check in was friendly and informative. ||We would certainly stay again. ||The bathroom blocks are in bad need of a good spring clean and need an upgrade would be nice. ||A lot of water going to waste from taps that will not close off properly around the park.

Our son and daughter in law booked a site and us asked to stay with them for a couple of nights, when we got there the manageress was so rude and would not listen to what was being said, it was for a ford transit van with a tent on the side and a gazebo all fitting on one site, admitted it was for two people but all we wanted to do was pay for two extra, she would not even let us finish explaing and insisted on charging for a extra site that we did not use. However the site and facilities were quite good. Very disappointed with the manageress.

Pemberton is a great central location for this south west area to set your self for a few days and do day trips to the four points of the compass. This caravan park is central to the small township very proud of is timber industry heritage. The caravan park will suit your needs without all the bells and whistles of the more starred and expensive parks. The sites are huge with lots of space between sites. Some sites are grass but the majority are sandy. The office is high up on the entrance with a down hill run into the caravan park. There is a bitumen and gutter road circular around with camps spread either side as well as some down near the river bend. The ablution blocks may not be the most modern however they are practical, operational, clean and functional which serves your purpose well. This is one of the rare caravan parks that allow you to have a camp fire so long as it is up off the ground. The park has many fire places spread throughout the park that you can move to your camp site and sell wood if required. There are numerous things to fill your day in near and within close proximity to Pemberton and this park is ideally suited. The staff were polite efficient and friendly on our visit. The park had a chilled vibe as arrivals are spread over the entire park and not packed in like sardines. I really liked the spot and would happily return.
PS. Feed the ring neck parrots once and they will be all over you. Very friendly. Night time a southern brown bandicoot would explore our campsite right up to us.

ā€œNow this is a caravan park!ā€

Alright mate, I’ve seen my fair share of campgrounds, from the dusty outback to the lush bushlands, but this place? It’s a real beauty. You roll in, and straight away, you know you’re in good hands. Plenty of space to park up the van, no need to wedge yourself in like a croc in a billabong.

The amenities? Spot on! Showers with actual water pressure (none of that dribbling nonsense), barbecues that get hot enough to sear a decent steak, and a camp kitchen that’s cleaner than a dingo’s conscience—if they had one.

Now, the wildlife’s a real treat. Saw a few cheeky kookaburras eyeing off my brekky, and I reckon I heard a possum having a wild night in the trees. But don’t worry—nothing that’ll try to drag you off in the middle of the night.

Best part? The locals. Everyone’s up for a yarn, always ready to lend a hand if you’ve got a flat tyre or need a cold one. You don’t get that kind of hospitality just anywhere.

So if you’re looking for a place to pull up, kick back, and enjoy the great outdoors, this caravan park’s got my stamp of approval. Five stars, easy. Wouldn’t be surprised if they start calling it Crocodile Dundee’s Favorite Campground!
