Stopped by on a Tuesday night for the first time for food. Staff were very helpful and the menu was very affordable (burger and chips $15) with food coming out quickly. Nice atmosphere. Only swan beer available on tap. Seating available outside, at bar or at dining tables. As it was winter they had a fire going outside. Unfortunately this was not where I was staying - I got mixed up with the Red Emu Motel - they are different places. Vegetarian burger available.

We stayed 2 nights at the caravan park where the caretaker recommended the local hotel for a meal. She did mention it can be busy so best to get there early as it can take up to 1 hour to get your meal is you arrive about 6pm onwards.|We got there at 5.35pm, ordered the special for the night, schnitzel, a drink each, then sat and waited at a table. After 45 minutes we ordered more drinks and continued to wait in the dinning room not wanting to seem impatient. 2 hours and still no meal. I was ready to go. My husband asked what happened to our meal and was told it wouldn't be much longer as it was the special we ordered so was already prepared. They had somehow misplaced our order.|Another 20 minutes, we were fuming. It was almost 8 pm!! We wound up leaving, no food and short the cost of 2 meals as a refund was not offered.

Ordered T Bone and Chicken Schnitzel both with Diane Sauce. We had to wait for an hour, but that really didn’t worry us. However, the result when it arrived was unimpressive and the sauce tasted nothing like Diane. They offered us an alternative sauce so we scraped off the orange muck and ate. (Could not eat the ‘salad’). Tried to speak with a manager but they were busy. Fair enough. I’ll review online.

This pub had a great atmosphere, friendly staff and local working men up for a yarn.
I had the lamb chops $20 special and it was excellent! Compliments to the chef on last night. Great value for money and cooked so well with 3 different salads and chips.
Cheap drinks, ample indoor and outdoor seating, clean toilets and walking distance to overnight stay options in town.

No word of a lie, that’s probably the best pub steak I’ve ever had. Flavoursome and tender, go the pepper sauce. Service was fantastic too. Well done Perenjori!

What a great pub. We had a weekend in Perenjori with friends and stayed at the Caravan Park. Friday night we decided to have a beer and meal at the pub. It was a great night. The locals, manager and bar staff were friendly and made us feel very welcome. The meal was great. Being winter they had a great outside fire going near the front door. We had a great night and will be back.
