Bought a whole chicken from Peters Poultry through their outlet Spud Shed in Thornlie. I was sickened to find the rubbish that was stuffed inside the chicken, there was smashed eggshells, feathers and looked like dead insects. Never more buying something from Peters Poultry. So much for bye west eat best. I binned the whole chicken, sad when it’s difficult to make ends meet. If only there was a way to add pictures here I would have.

Authentic hand slaughtered and non gas-stunned chickens. Recently been taken over by southern river masjid (Masjid Ibrahim). A lot of the problems with the previous owners have been resolved.

It's a sad reality that majority abattoirs that use gas+stunning has been irresponsibly certified Halal. This does not bode well with many islamic bodies such as JAKIM from Malaysia, MUIS Singapore, Brunei and etc.

Quality of chicken is very good but most of the times they dont have stock even if the item is listed on their price list. Also they only cut 8 pcs each not more than that.
