I have been going to Philip-Jon ever since I moved into the area three years ago. Every single time I walk out 100% more beautiful than when I walked in. PJ does miracles with my hair, knows exactly what suits me, and makes me look awesome. If you are looking for a hairdresser, then look no further. Can't get any better than Philip-Jon.

I just had a style cut and hair colour done by Phillip and it’s honestly the best haircut I’ve ever had and I’m blown away with Phillip’s hairdressing abilities. I haven’t had a haircut in over 18months due to having severe trust issues with hairdressers. When going to Philips Salon he was immediately so friendly and welcoming, he listened to what I was looking for and was able to explain the colour process for my hair type in an easy to understand way. Philip also made sure to show me how much hair was being cut off as he was taking it off which helped put my mind at ease knowing not all my hair was being taking off like other hairdressers tend to do. Finding a hairdresser that has the Passion and the superpower that Philip has is honestly a rarity and should be experienced by all! And to top things off he’s also super affordable!

Exquisite attention to detail from the moment I walked in. I didn’t know what I wanted, but trusted PJ to perform some magic.
He was able to straight away tell me what his vision was, how he was going to achieve it, and importantly what my hair really needed!
Super fast, but thorough with foils, beautiful conversation filled with soul and heart, excellent coffee and two of the cutest puppy dogs around!
Extremely happy with the results. Very highly recommend.

I was lucky enough to get an appointment with PJ whilst in Mission Beach last week. What a treat it was! Not only is my colour and cut fabulous but it is cut so well that I can actually make it look great myself! No pesky cowlick in my fringe ( a first!) and my thin, fine hair actually looks more substantial.
PJ’s salon is calm, relaxed and the mirrors actually make you look good - brilliant ambiance.
Even more special is PJ himself.- I feel like I have a new friend.

Philip cut my hair beautifully after not seeing a hairdresser for over a year and a half , due to the dissatisfaction from previous cuts I've received. Having long curly hair ,it's been a struggle to get the hairdresser to understand not to take too much length off due to bounce back, Phillip understood and took off enough so I still had length but no more split ends ! Highly recommend and will be going back for all future cuts!

I had long hair and wanted to go shorter, I wanted a pixie cut but chickened out. Philip-Jon said a pixie cut would suit me, but I was too nervous to go that short, so I opted for a different style. I liked the result, but when I went back for my next cut, I decided to trust his advice and went for the pixie. Now, I absolutely love it! It’s the first time I’ve really loved photos of myself. Philip-Jon truly knows what he's doing—I couldn't be happier with the result!
