Our experience with Pinnacle Strata has been really great. The team and especially Lisa have gone above and beyond to help the committee navigate some complex and often stressful situations. Their understanding, compassion and overall professionalism has been incredible. While we have a complex layered scheme, Pinnacle have helped organise and fix some budgeting handovers left over by our last strata manager. Can highly recommend.

Was initially very happy when Duncan managed our scheme but then it got progressively worse. The committee is made up of more than just a single person yet this is how it ended in being managed, a partnership between the strata manager and a single committee member. When strata managers assist in ways to avoid legal responsibilities like Christmas parties and bylaws not being enforced, owners become very dissatisfied. Then comes an insurance claim where the wrong account details were provided by Michelle Adams to the insurance company but the reimbursement wasn’t followed up when Pinnacle knew it had not been received. I did write to Duncan outlining issues and he promised to call to discuss which didn’t happen, instead he forwarded my complaint to the single committee member and his staff member. Our scheme voted them out and have since had new managers chasing up missing information. I feel a body corporate manager should always uphold what is legislatively required instead of appeasing a single committee member. They work for the whole committee and all lot owners and if everything is above board, bias and bending the rules doesn’t happen. Almost half our budget was charged by them in fees in two months without any justification and when asked about costs they wouldn’t provide details.
They nominated themselves only as a nominee on our insurance policy (didn’t even nominate the two owners) and refused to assist so that anyone else could access the policy. Grossly unprofessional.

As a long-standing chairman and secretary of a Couran Cove Body Corporate I have been involved in one of the most difficult BC environments in Queensland in recent years. Multiple law suits, disagreements with service providers, and a consequential complete loss of essential services, all caused by massive debt levels, has contributed to a paralysing situation in which our previous Body Corporate manager simply could not cope.
While the above difficulties continue, our engagement of Pinnacle Strata has been a game changer.
