Caitlin was incredible in her knowledge of the program, the research, all the resources and how to adjust for different school contexts and student needs. She was good fun, very efficient but detailed and wanted to help and answer all questions. I highly recommend this PLD PD with Caitlin.

I was disappointed because I had hoped I’d leave knowing how to implement PLD (we’re moving to PLD next year for consistency across the school)
Our presenter was very knowledgeable and I enjoyed listening to what she had to say. However, as a teacher who isn’t familiar with the program, I needed to know how it is to be implemented. The theory is a given - and WA being behind, we know all too well - so I was hoping for practical info about getting started. I now still need to find the relevant manuals and look it all up, what to do, what to buy etc. I was unfortunately confused.
Lastly, without being picky, the parking was so problematic, it made for an extremely stressful day. I have given my colleagues the heads up with travel!

I was a bit intimidated, looking at our school PLD resources and not knowing what to do with them. After attending a face to face seminar, I have come away with so much knowledge and a plan of attack! I can't wait to see my students' progression through the program. I definitely feel it will be a good fit once modified slightly for my non-verbal students.

I have learnt so much from attending PLD seminars and using the resources over many years. Following the PLD teaching sequences will get your students on the right track to become successful readers and spellers. We are currently learning to use the cloud based spelling tracking. Diana has been so generous with her support at getting my teaching team on track and helping us understand how to use and respond to the data. Diana, you are an outstanding leader in this area. I believe in the PLD program and have seen first hand the growth in the skills of my students by following this approach.

As a speech pathologist I love the PLD products. There are so many resources and training options to choose from! Very well structured, great graphics and using evidence based approaches that incorporate knowledge from a range of professionals such as speech pathologists, occupational therapists and teachers. The structure of presentation was very confusing. Needed explantaion of overall program structure, components, navigation and products first. Less on theory more on how. How was rushed because of time spent on theory. Most people that attend know theory that's why they attend. I left more confused than before I went.

Love the Phonic Sight Word Sequence book I got from PLD a few months ago. I teach Year 3 and I have already seen an improvement in my students since starting this program at the beginning of the term. I highly recommend it!
