DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. We waited nearly 3 months for the work to be complete, paid top dollar and we were then handed a piece of work that only a novice could have made. The piece was off centre, badly glued and a secondary piece of plastic didn't meet the adjoining surface. Aghast at what was presented as a finished piece, we ended up going to another plastics person who was able to fix the shoddy work done at Poly Tech. The name of the company that saved the day is Golden West Plastics. 9390 1389.

Please be warned and take your business elsewhere. This company delivers poor quality products and communicates terribly.

I asked for a quote for an aquarium, after a month of hearing nothing back regarding my questions/specifications, I was not only sent a bill for an aquarium, but told work on it had already begun and legal action would be taken should I not pay the bill.

Of course, once I had paid, each week, every week there was a new reason (or not even a reason) as to why it was going to take yet another week to make.

On top of that, the tank that had begun being built was NOT to my specifications. As they had ignored all recent correspondence from me.
Feeling cornered, I paid for the aquarium, and cut my losses.

More so, after only one year in use, the aquarium fell apart on me. And I mean fell apart. The sealed edge came completely apart without warning and 280L of fish water was on my floor.

I am now up to spend even more money replacing the tank and the flooring, all over a tank I never wanted, never specifically ordered, was not even what I was looking for- but was pressured into buying from this company.

Not only do they do business without proper correspondence, they do not make good products, in my experience.

Leaving a one star review well overstates the quality of service I received. If you want five star service do not go to Polytech because all you'll receive for your money is an example of how not to run a business. There was no pride in the products they manufacture and it shows as the quality of workmanship is very poor and they don't care.

I've petitioned Google to allow zero star reviews purely to accommodate this "business". I've used quotation marks because no sane person would ever refer to this abortion of a outfit as a business. Every week, for 3 months now, they have advised that my order will be ready 'next week' and still no end in sight for when I'll receive my order. I'll never do business again with this lot. Absolute disgrace.
