We booked Poncho Mexican Street Food for a private event for my daughter's 21st Birthday for 60 guests. Right from the first correspondence, Jenny was always very prompt and helpful. The food truck arrived early, the setup was quick and the food was ready to be served at the agreed time. Our guests loved all the dishes available and they all commented how lovely the girls were, how quick the meals were prepared and how amazing the food was. I would not hesitate in recommending Poncho Mexican Street Food truck for any event or function, it was the best decision we made so we could enjoy the celebrations with our guests.

Absolutely wonderful! The Poncho team, food and service was outstanding! Punctual and professional! The food came out on time, was absolutely delicious and just kept coming! Highly recommend Poncho for your event! We hosted around 50 guests and couldn’t have asked for anything better!!! Well done Poncho and thank you ☺️

I was greeted by a lovely woman who recommended a delicious rice bowl with mixed meat (beef/chicken). This was also offered as a vegetarian dish but I opted for all the fillings!

The hot sauce was the perfect combination of hot and flavourful.

I can’t wait to go back the next time!

Had the chilaquiles today for the first time and it was beyond good! Really yummy food and really nice staff, with the bar next door it’s a great spot for some delicious Mexican food and a margarita, highly recommend

Delicious, nutritious and ambitious! Jenny makes amazing Mexican food authentic to the region where she hales from. My wife being of Mexican decent was so happy to find a local authentic Mexican place! The quesadilla was delicious filled with great depth of flavour. The chilachiles are very flavourful and stacked with toppings! The only thing I’d change was the taquitos where a bit dry for my liking but Jenny said just ask for them with cheese inside next time ? all in all thank you for being in the area and you have local customers for life!

Ordered a chicken bowl + guacamole with no dairy, got nachos with cheese instead. The price difference is not even comparable $23 vs $15. Reviewing 3 stars because it still looks delicious but inedible by me - I got a refund for the particular mistake but I’m still left without dinner. Unfortunately we don’t get a refund for the inconvenience.

--- UPDATE ---
I got in touch with the owner after their response and got a delicious Vegan bowl from them. They were no way entitled to do so but the compensation was well received and I'll definitely be ordering from Poncho again.

Healthy, delicious and value for money. Awesome! Just sitting at the Goldcoast Sports Centre, chilling and having a nachos in the sun... Nothing better when it tastes this good
