From start to finish the service to replace the old pool drum was done quickly and with no hassle for me. I was kept in the loop at all times and the work was done faster than I was expecting, given this time of year. Ivan provided some welcomed suggestions and guidance. The pool is looking better than it has in years so I'm definitely going to be relying on Ivan's expert knowledge to keep it looking this good.

I hired Poolwerx to fix my pool pump because it stopped working. They came by, checked it out, and replaced the broken part. It didn’t take long, and they explained everything as they went. The price was reasonable, and the pump works fine now.

I have been using this pool shop for a number of years and always received great service. Thomas, the new owner, has recently helped me with a warranty pump repair and made it happen quickly and without any fuss. It’s always great to find a good local business that supports you when you need them.

Zodiac Chlorinator failed just after one year - I took it back to the pool shop in Claremont where I purchased it, thankfully it was covered under warranty. However, they would not exchange it, instead sent off an email to Zodiac. I contacted Zodiac after a week of hearing nothing. It would have been cheaper for me to purchase a new cell rather than wait. See photos of my pool below. Ivan of PoolWerx in Beaumaris was prompt at treating my pool, came when he said, tested all the equipment and swapped over the damaged cell for the replacement. The team in the shop are always helpful and polite. I will not be going anywhere else in the future. Green pool after one week of no cell, Clean pool after 4 days.

I get my pool water tested free every month by Amy, always helpful and doesn't try and sell me loads of unnecessary chemicals. If you do buy chemicals they are slightly more expensive than the big places like Bunnings but then they are not charging you for their service.
Would highly recommend to support this local business.

Changed from 5 star to 1 star

Place has gone downhill since change of ownership.

I asked for a pool pump service to which they don't do anymore and they said it couldn't be serviced. They told me 1500 for a new pump and then quoted 2200. They charged for the service which they didn't even do.

I asked another pool shop to service the pump which they did for a few hundred and pump is working perfectly now.

I would avoid poolwerx It's gone from best shop NOR to zero service maximum cost.

Ivan did a fantastic job of installing a Heat Pump at our rental property in Currambine. They were very knowledgeable and communicated really well. He also did a service on the pool and liaised with the Electrician when the install was being done. When it turned out that I did not need one of the quoted items, Ivan did a refund which I would never have picked up. I have left the management of my pool to Poolwerx!

Ivan is extremely responsive and provided great cost effective advice for a heat pump that works great with my pool setup. He and his team were flexible with the install and did a very professional job. Amy in the shop always provides good advice to keep everything running. The family is happily swimming in September. Highly recommend.
