A must stop when visiting Port Hedland, especially considering the lack of tourist brochures available on the area. Make sure to check out the shipping schedule (on the outside board), so you can catch one of the iron ore boats entering or leaving the port.

Staff were so accommodating by ensuring what I wanted was gift wrapped and ready to be picked up... especially on short notice prior to their closing time. Felt very valued and appreciated by the flexibility and understanding provided by the staff!

The tour was great and the driver come tour guide gave us a lot of interesting facts about Port Hedland and the mining industry here. The visitor centre supplied beer and wine to watch the sunset across the ocean but no soft drink for non drinkers.

Watch out for Wide Loads and badly maintained shoulders. The seal edge can rip tyres to shreds.

Very helpful girls! We did 2 tours, listened to the Port story told by Julie. Went to the Tugboat water exhibition & stairway to the moon, sites around town etc. Definitely make it your first stop in town!!

Great bunch of ladies, plenty of info & right in the centre of town, just up from the port area. The Mission of Seafarers harbour tour is very popular & we couldn't get on for 3 days. But the info centre do run a 45min video once a day, so that is definitely worth seeing.
