I just love the atmosphere and energy and friendly staff at Commonage Pottery, there is always something on offer, from pottery classes (with Japneet & Gary), art classes (Gerald Ashcroft Palette Knife) to encaustic (wax art)classes (Colin Pratt). The beautiful pottery that Gary Produces is top quality, I have such a selection of his pieces from vases to crockery and lamps. I enjoy using Gary's beautiful casserole dishes too, they work a treat and so easy to clean.

I just had the most wonderful experience with Japneet of Commonage Pottery. I contacted her from Canada to help me choose a wedding gift for a friend in Australia. She went out of her way to help me including a video tour of the store so I could choose the perfect present. Thank you so much for making this such a delightful shopping experience!

I can't rate my experience at Commange Pottery highly enough. The tuition is second to none, and the atmosphere welcoming, supportive, and encouraging to both novice and aspiring potter. If you have even the slightest creative streak and want a rewarding and fun experience then I recommend enrolling in any of the workshops you have an interest in.

Commonage Pottery and Gallery is a beautiful creative space full of history and magic. So much to see and "feel" here. I did a couple of pottery lessons with Japneet which were so much fun. We made a square butter dish which sits proudly on my kitchen bench. Thank you Japneet! It was my parents who introduced me to Happs wine and pottery 20 years ago! Anyone visiting the South West needs to come and hang out here at least once in their life time 🙂

Did a pottery workshop here with some friends, it was amazing, we had lots of fun, learnt something new. All whilst enjoying Happs wines and in a relaxing, chilled-out environment. Definitely recommend.

I ordered customised pottery for my family in Darwin. It was wonderful to be able to select something from their beautiful collection of handthrown pottery by Gary Hambleton & Japneet Keith.
The pottery was packed very well. So much easier for gifting ideas to select from their collection.
Thanks.
